8 weeks post op and doing great.

Today it is 8 weeks from my surgery and things are still going well swelling has been very minimal but does happen from time to time mostly in my lower back where Lipo was done not my legs. Healing is going great scars are looking good I spit a stitch last Tuesday which was kinda freaked me out thought I had an infection but went to ps and he said I spit a stitch it's still not totally healed but almost and it was in groin area right near the back of my butt cheek so it was sore to walk for a couple of days but nothing to bad. Have been cleared to start working out afain just to ease into it and don't push to hard. The six week mark my tieredness had pretty much gone and every week the tightness eases a little I can now put my own socks on that happened around 6 and a half weeks sitting is getting easier but still can't sit for too long and it gets uncomfortable all in all things are slowly getting back to normal and I am still loving my results the only thing I wish I had have had done was Lipo on my legs but maybe after I start working out again that is all they will need see what the next month brings. This surgery in someways was slit easier then I though but in other ways was harder the biggest and hardest thing is to have patience but eventually you get through it. I probably will not update till 3 months life is busy summer is coming so until next time all take care here are some updated pics from 7.5 weeks.

You are looking great! I am so happy you updated! Thank you for showing us how your scars look! My thigh lift is coming! My surgery is on May 13th! I love your thigh scars! They look great already! I am hoping mine will look the same at 8 weeks. It looks like your scar goes towards the back when it gets to your groin. Mine is going in the front like an upside down hockey stick the doctor said. Of course it is going past my knees a bit, I have so much extra skin. Is there anything that you did or used that helped with your thigh lift?? I would love to know if you have some tips!

Thank you and good luck with yours. I also have the hockey stick incision just have not shown it as well as a little bit of the incision going to the back. As for tips I wish I had have had a raised toilet seat it would have been a lot easier going to the bathroom. I also have a pick up stick it's a long stick with punchers on the bottom and a trigger on the top that closes the punchers that was a life saver you don't realize how many things you drop until you can't bend down to pick them up as well I used it to pull my pants up with after going to the bathroom I had one in living room and one in the bathroom it really came in handy. Make sure you get lots of protein your body needs it to heal I was doing 20/25 grams of protein every3- 4 hours mostly in protein shakes and Greek yogurt get a good protein powder it's easy to make and easy on your stomach especially for the first week after surgery when your not upto doing or preparing. Eat healthy to that is key your body needs good food with lots of nutrience to heal. As well I toke arnica stated 3 days prior to help with bruising and swelling I hardly swelled at all and bruising was very minimal take lots of vit c as well as b vit that helps metabolize and absorb your protein better. I believe all of these things helped with a easy recovery and of course rest don't push yourself and be patient. I hope that was helpful if you have any other question just message again good luck I look forward to reading how your recovery is going.

Why was it over $30,000? Thigh lifts are usually 15-20....I find the pricing is a little much...Can u tell me wat u paid for? A huge difference u look great but wow I am shocked at price...

Gauze and tape in thigh pics due to opening at t both were small and should be totally closed within a week so happy about that the tape really irritates my skin.

You are so fortunate to have had such a good experience with your thigh surgery! I am post op 4 weeks and have never experienced such pain. I had the vertical lift along with extensive lipo and I am still miserable. The swelling and bruising have improved, now waiting for the burning, stabbing, electrifying pain to ease. No infection and doctor is pleased with progress. He attributes pain to extensive liposuction. My scars look good although longer than I expected. I was cut about 2inches below the knee. So happy for you and your fairly quick recovery. I had TT and panniculectomy 6 months ago and recovery was a breeze compared to the thighs. Best of luck to you! You look great!!!!

I'm sorry about your hard recovery but there is always light at the end of the tunnel and in the end it will all be worth it. The Lipo is difficult I had a lot done on my back and that was the hardest on me too but mine subsided after a week and was and still is tender. I took arnica for 3 days prior and 2 weeks after surgury and I believe that helped with swelling and bruising by one week bruises were almost gone and just yellow. Hope you start to feel better soon.

Thanks and continued good luck with your recovery. Each day it does seem to improve a little, however, I have an opening the size of a quarter that is taking it's old sweet time to heal. The stabbing pains are more intermittent now and looking forward to that "end of the tunnel"!!! Thanks!

Sorry have not updated in a while but started back to work last week and boy that was challenging was so exsausted swlen and sore after 4 hours of a 9 hour shift it took everything I had to get through the day and all i could think about was how much I wanted to lay down with my feet up and sleep. This week has been so much better and easier to get through I still come home have a nap and put my feet up but not so sore or swollen or tiered and days are much better. Yesterday was the first day since I started to drive that it almost felt normal week 4 has definatly been a turning point for me. Just wish I could puty own socks and shoes on all ready lol I know patience. Had my 4 week post op appointment today everything is healing and looks amazing I am so happy thus far with the results and Dr Dupree is the best and can not thank him enough and am so glad I choose him he is a very talented doctor. Willians is awesome to he is so soft and kind you just can't help but love him. Will post agIn soon but right now just busy trying to get back into the swing of things and complete my healing.
