After years of infertility, drugs, aging, I could not lose the unsightly fat around my waist, flank area. I have tried every diet, work out and am active but the fat "shelf" was here to stay. After a year of research I decided to undergo lipo360. Best decision I ever made. Dr. Jungenburg is top notch!

How has your recovery process been? I did the fertility thing too so I know exactly what you mean. I had my lipo (abs flanks and trunk) two weeks ago and I am still in so much pain (which the Dr. assured me is normal). The burning and hard swelling are just the worst! UGH!

Hang in there. I think it was the 2 week mark where moving forward the pain is SO much better. The swelling does last for a while. I found when I loosened the compression garment a bit, the swelling was better. In general my swelling lasted about 4 weeks, with certain spots (back area) still swelling depending on my salt intake (I think). It does get easier- feel better soon!

One more thing. If you are in pain- make sure you are taking the pain meds. I stopped taking them after a week but was in pain, thinking it wasn't a good idea to keep taking them. In speaking with Dr Jugenburg's staff, she stated to take the meds. Sharing this in case you are in the same boat I was. Contact your dr if you need further assistance !

Thanks so much. Trust me, I'm already there (re: meds). It caught me off guard because most reviews I read gave the impression that the first 3-7 days are bad and then the pain ends. How I wish lol. Did you have hardness as well? If so, how long did it take for that to subside?

I pull say the pain is definitely better after 2 weeks but for me I still didn't feel great- especially at night. The hardness for me (think I'm 9 weeks?) is still there! It's better but I still feel it. At first it drove me bonkers but now I don't mind it so much. I got a few massages and they worked the areas and that telly helped. I didn't do this until week 6. Are you in Toronto? I can tell you who I saw. It helped!

I'm in DC but will definitely start looking around for places that offer lymphatic massage. Thanks for the encouragement! I hope yours continues to go well!

Thank you! No- I didn't lose any weight but I tried. My bmi was 25 when I went in. be honest I haven't even weighed myself since I had the procedure so I'm not even sure where I am today but I'm watching carefully how my clothes fit.

Either your metabolism is awesome, or the Dr did a marvelous job. The before and after picture is amazing. You look like if you lost a lot of weight, and then did the procedure. Congrats, you look gorgeous.

Great results! If you don't mind me asking what was your BMI/ weight before the surgery? I am looking to get this done, but I know weight is considered for the best results.
