My upper lip had always made me self-conscious due to a cleft lip at birth. It was repaired with less than perfect results...for many years I would try to camouflage my lips with lip liner and lipstick. It was not, until finding Dr. Cory Torgerson on RealSelf that I was freed from constantly wearing lipstick. Dr. Cory Torgerson is a highly skilled plastic surgeon. During the consultation he explained the procedure and made me feel comfortable and confident. I didn't feel any pain (thanks to the numbing gel.) My lips were injected with Teosyal. Dr. Cory Torgerson did such an amazing job, my lips look natural and I am thrilled with the results. I highly recommend Dr. Cory Torgerson! If you are nervous about lip injections...YOU want a highly experienced Doctor! I am truly amazed with his work and I wouldn't go to anyone else...He's a perfectionist!!

What type of procedure did you have? Did you have fillers or something more permanent?

Thank you! I had lip injections done and the filler was Teosyal. It can last from 6-18 months. Each time an injection is done less filler is used.
How is your mouth now?
It still looks good and I haven't had any lip injections since May. I am happy with the results:)
What does it mean to look good? You mean as in there's no way for some ppl to notice that you have Clift palate before?
Yes, this is what I mean by looks good that l don't feel self conscious about and it is not noticeable like before I had my first lip injections in 2015. Also my lips were injected with Teosyal which can last from 6 to 18 months and this was my second time I had my lip injections to maintain it. The more you have it done, it improves the cleft area and you won't need injections as often. Hope this helps:)
