Four Month Arm Lift Update

$9,600
These 4 months have flown by. I can now do everything I did before the arm lift. It's so nice not to have flabby arms. Dr. Jugenburg did a great job with the incision which is healing nicely. The scar is still very red so I cover it with full cover F/X makeup ( available at Shoppers) . No more pain at all. Vey happy that I had them done.

You got a great result! Hopefully your scars will continue to lighten and fade with time. I can't wait be rid of my flappers, too! Thanks for the update.
Can i please ask what your scars look like now and have they lightened?

The cover makeups really works! Will the scars ever totally heal? My next door neighbor had the same thing done and has a couple of long thin scars that don't seem to go away. She used scar cream to help heal them, but I am going to tell her about the cover makeup!
For sure...the tattoo cover make-up is really great. Make sure it's waterproof cover up b/c it doesn't get on your clothes as much. It's a trial by error to find what works the best. I suggest going to Sephora...they are the experts & can help find the right shade.
Thanks!
So glad you shared...... your arms look wonderful. I too am 61 and had an arm lift 3 months ago and can say our scars are on par with each other. Makeup indeed does help and I use over the counter Revlon Color Stay makeup foundation and spread a very thin layer onto the scar. I don't always do this but if I am going into the sun and I need SPF protection then this is what I do. However I wonder how the public perceives the scars. Part of me doesn't care because my arms are a thousand times better without the previous droopy and crapey skin. NO one has commented one way or another, what has been your response, and how do people / strangers react when you tell them your story? PS..... I would appreciate a picture that is taken more directly in a well lit area. It is very hard to see your great results in the shadows of trees......

Just over 2 months since arm lift

Really happy with how my arms look & feel now. I still have red scars but I cover them with a full cover waterproof makeup by Make up Forever from Sephora. They also have a make up to cover tattoo's which I tried a sample of & really liked. Both come in many shades to match your skin. I finally feel ok with wearing sleeveless tops. It was well worth having the surgery. I will post pic's later.
