Buccal Fat Removal Update
It's my 4th day post-op and my face is back to normal visually. It's still a bit sore when you press on it and it's still awkward to eat solid foods. My cheeks are still stiff and I can feel them when I try to smile (as if I got lots of fillers and botox lol) so not as elastic yet since it's stiched and healing - which is normal.
Everything seems to be healing as it should. The other day, I sent an email asking if I seem to be healing normally and sent some photos of my swelling and the stiches. Dr. Alexander called me and asked me to press on the cheek and see if there's any puss, told me how to massage them for quicker recovery and asked me to send another email to update my healing progress [I live far away]. He is so very attentive to his clients even after operation and appreciate it a lot. Makes me feel well cared for and makes the healing process feel a little less anxious.
Will update again in a few weeks when I feel that I've reached the final point of how my cheeks are supposed to look!

Buccal Fat Removal
The consultation was great and the doctor and staff are all very welcoming and sweet. The doctor is easy to talk to and very kind.
The operation it self was quite painful. The needles in the beginning are sharp but is a relatively quick and easy process however my right cheek was stubborn during fat removal. There was a lot of tugging and pinching and it felt like the muscles were being ripped out. The right cheek went on for a 3 or 4 times longer than the left which was quick and easy with no pain.
My tip for surgery prep: MOISTURIZE your lips beforehand. They need to stretch ur mouth around but my lips were so dry making it difficult to open wide and it felt uncomfortable.
I'm currently in my second day post-op.
I will be posting more updates with before surgery photos when they arrive tomorrow!
