8 weeks post op and very much in love... recovery was a breeze and incisions have healed nicely... have started scar treatment with mederma and La Mer. Hands down the best decision I have made. After feeling so self conscious after breast feeding two children and the affect it had on my breasts. Feeling so confident in my own skin. Also got the green light to return to working out.

So constipated but either then that can’t complain. Pain is definitely a lot better today and managed to wash my own hair. Can’t wait to get the tape off next week and see the girls. Starting to wean off the pain meds slowly. Have had some itching around my breasts and the skin feels tight. Also felt some tingling around my nipples so nerves are starting to heal.

were you still nursing when you had your consult? How long after stopping BF were you able have surgery?

Hi no I wasn’t I had stopped breast feeding in June and had my consult in September. They want at least 6 months of no breastfeeding before surgery

Congrats on your surgery! Constipation is a real drag. Did you ask your PS for suggestions to remedy your constipation and itchiness? My PS recommended over-the-counter stool softeners; however I found a high-fiber cereal such as Kashi Go-lean (the original version with 13 g of fiber) more effective than the stool softeners. For itching I was given clearance to take over-the-counter antihistamines (Zyrtec) and use Aquaphor (a non anti-biotic healing ointment) prophylactically on my breast skin to protect it from all the bruising and swelling. Bruising and swelling can cause dryness to the skin resulting in itchiness and sometimes rash. Wishing you a smooth healing… :-)

Thank you! I had used senokot but it literally did nothing. I finally gave in and used a suppository. It worked in minutes lol

Can’t believe it’s finally here.. I’m going with a breast lift with 445cc silicone under the muscle implant. Took my last photos of my current girls to compare. Surgery is scheduled for 730 pm Tuesday 21st. Little bummed that it’s so late as I can’t eat or drink (even water) from 730am on but say la vie it’s worth it.
