I had been considering Breast Augmentation for nearly 10 years before I booked my consultation with Dr. Jugenburg. Throughout the years I had done a lot of research and finally decided to book an appointment at the Toronto Cosmetic Surgery Institute. To be honest, before I went for my appointment I was feeling hesitant - after so many years of research, I was telling myself to be cautious and reasonable. The second the elevator doors opened and I walked into Dr. Jugenburg's office I got such an incredible feeling. Greeted by such beautiful, warm and genuine staff, I already felt so well taken care of.
I was brought into the consultation room right away and started talking with Dr. Jugenburg about why I wanted the surgery, what I was hoping to get out of it, etc. after that we had the fun part - trying on the different implant sizes! I think this is absolutely the most important part. Ladies, take your time during this process. Dr. Jugenburg and Kim are so patient and you should feel comfortable and confident that you are making the right decision.
When trying on various implant sizes, I think the most important thing to remember is that all sizes will look big right away. You have had your breasts your whole adult life and trying on any implant will seem huge in comparison. HOWEVER, it's important to remember that you will get used to your implants very quickly and will forget how your breasts looked before. This being said, do not be afraid to go a little bit larger. I started off as a 34A and am now roughly a 34C and wish I had gone a little bit larger. I am SO incredibly happy with the results of my surgery and I think my breasts look perfect, but I do think I could have gone larger. This is an incredibly common reaction from women who have had Breast Augmentation surgery, so make sure you take this into consideration.
The surgery itself went so smoothly and I truly felt like I was in great hands. Recovering in The Fairmont Royal York hotel was an incredible added bonus. I have not seen that offered at any other cosmetic surgery institute and, after surgery, the perfect way to end your day is to be escorted up to your hotel room with room service!
The recovery process has been easy and from day one to day 30, consultation to recovery, I have felt every bit cared for. I would recommend Dr. Jugenburg and The Toronto Cosmetic Surgery Institute to anyone!
