Just thought i would update my "drooping" progress. Definitely is dropping but in a very slow motion! Which is not uncommon for textured implants. My top muscle is still swollen and I'm wearing the compression band day and night! It's part on my outfit now ;) very trendy!!!
The scars look beautiful, my PS really knows what he was doing, everything else seems very good, no more discomfort since week 2-3. I'm just waiting for my lower pole to fill more and for my upper pole fullness to subside. I know "time" is the answer...
Hope all of you are healing well and doing great enjoying the new additions!!!

You already are looking very natural which means you'll continue to look better and better! The dropping process is slow as molasses, I hear you there. Almost 9 weeks post op and I'm not there yet myself. Good luck and congrats on awesome results!

I see your progress!! I've been wearing the strap most all the time - yes, so trendy ;) - that my PS gave me 5 days ago and slowly seeing progress. I thought of your recommendations when he gave it to me! I'm keeping my fingers crossed for both of us to achieve the lower pole fullness we both desire!! Looking forward to your future posts of progress!

Hahaha! I'm still wearing that strap I'm sure I'll miss it when I'll discontinued using it! Lol
Yours looks amazing already! Just hope yours progress faster as every body heals differently!
The strap and the time definitely help! We'll get there for sure, slower but worth the wait!

I heard different opinions, that wearing surgical bra or sports bra prevents dropping? What's your experience?
Or any advise beside "patience":) would be appreciated! Thank you ! And just a note, mine are textured implants!

Lol patience.... You're only 11 days in!! It really does take months.... I went bra shopping at 3 weeks and they still had a ways to to at that point. I noticed the biggest difference probably around 6 weeks. And I wore my surgical bra pretty much the whole time. Lol I had the opposite concern as you - I was so worried about supporting them probably so they wouldn't bottom out. You'll get there;)

LOL I'm the same as BieBie...I've been wearing my surgical bra religiously. IT'S JUST SO COMFY. But I've noticed it's getting tighter now as the boobs drop. Have yours dropped much since your last post Nicole? I really didn't notice a difference until around Week 4 - and it was still pretty subtle!

No, they did not :( and they have a very funny shape!
It looks like my pectoral muscle took over the implant, it's so prominent and there's no lower pole fullness. They are just ugly, I'm not even looking at them anymore. I hope in one they will change :(

I was about to ask that same question on my review lol I wonder if I go bra free like some doctored recommend there patients too that maibe I will drop sooner ? I wanna go bra less lol just so they can drop but scared if that I ruin them :-(

Unfortunately the only answer we can give you with confidence is "patience!" haha! Everyone's doctor is different. Some say massage, some don't, some say to ice, some say not to ice. You get the drift. Give your surgeon a call and see what they say, but unfortunately it will all take time! Maybe your surgeon will recommend wearing a band at the top to help speed things along?

I used a strap above the breasts, but mine are so slow ro drop. I'm 5 weeks post op and even though the top of the implants have dropped, the bottom hasn't yet so I haven't got that slight 'sag' if you get me, they still look very much glued on. My surgeon said I neeed to wait 3 months at the earliest! Keep an eye on my posts, I will be uploading new photos soon so you will see what I mean

My implant displacement exercises helped tremendously. My surgeon had me start them on day 3 post op and I basically press with my whole hand under my nipples to push the implant up in order to keep the pocket open. I know it's sounds funny pushing them up to make them drop but it helps loosen the pocket and help them have more space in order to drop in nicely. You just want to make your implant move. I did these 10 times on each breast for 10 times a day. They definitely helped soften them and they dropped perfectly. Good luck!

Thank you for advice.... That would be helpful for sure but just because mine are textured I'm not supposed to massage them
I just sent an email to my PS to let him know about the "not drooping part" and I'll see what he's suggesting
I'm just so impatient:(
If I would know this will happen soon I wouldn't worry but I don't see any changes yet and I'm afraid they healed already on a upper position:(

Good luck! I'm sure they'll find their place but it just may take longer. I'm not patient either lol

It's been already 10 days!!! Time is not flying at this time:(
Physically I feel excellent. I even start doing today a little upper body exercise just not to loose the muscle mass, I did spinning without using tension on my upper body! And I felt great! The incision doesn't hurt. Still sleeping on my back and it doesn't bother me at all. I'm lucky that way:)
I'm wearing the band 24/7 though, not very comfortable but I AM aiming for that "lower pole fullness" that I'm praying now to get it in one day!!! 3 months, 6 months? we will see!
I'm a little paranoid that just because I got a textured implants I'll get stuck with my implants on my upper pole.:( But my PS assures me that everything is going to be ok and I trust him. Plus I've seen other results in here that looks AMAZING!!! So I'm trying to stay positive in here! Thanks to all Real Self great ladies!!!

by seeing your review seems like we have same stats and wish pics are similar. I won't be able to give you a good advice just yet :) but same here i wanted for me what's the best out there and I've been searching and searching
What you are expected in your post seems good to me, my advice is to find a good PS and trust his opinion, they know better, every body is different.
those sounds good (inframammary incision, round implant, sub muscular, moderate profile i believe looks more natural but is not a rule of thumb, I've seen girls in here with HP that look just as natural as mod. Textured??? hmm...Im having a second guess, I would tell you in 3 months :) The only reason my PS chose textured because i didn't want my boob too far apart since I had a big gap between the breast and textured adhere to the tissue, BUT they don't drop so fast:( so now i feel mine are sitting nice and tight on my collar bone!!!
good luck with your search and keep us posted:)

Thanks so much for all the advice! My PS advised against textured and that is one thing I already knew I didn't want so really that's all I know for sure right now!!! Lol. I'm excited to follow your review. My surgery isn't til Dec 21st so I'll have some time to decide! :)

You're are losing mass muscles since you're not exercising , And mucles weights more than fat so that's why you might be lighter on the scale

I'ms o confused, so they are meant to be rectangular at this stage? The looked so great post op day 1.

N
August 19, 2015
yup, unfortunately :( they still look the same, and I'm 3 weeks po already. I just pray that I'll get more lower pole fullness and my upper swelling will go away asap. Just because they are textured takes time to drop and fluff. They might change in the next months or so :(
