We only live once, and we only have one body!!! Invest in it !!! Lol
I never had money to get a "boob job" and I realize we will never have them anyway!.
Just like all of you from here, I always wanted fuller breast and my wish will come true in the end of this month! I'm al excited, waiting impatiently and scared at the same time! But I chose one of the best surgeon in Toronto and I really trust him! I'm sure everything will go well!
I'm 34 B , 12 mm wide, (5"5, 128lbs)
I'm getting 345 or 375 ccs moderate profile, dual plane textured round cohesive gel, Alergan Inspira
Looking for a more natural look, a full C or a small D, something that's more proportionate with my body frame.
Any suggestions for pre op? I did not get anything yet....Thank you in advance!

Nice to read your review!! For pre-op I got a couple super soft pillows so I could be comfy sleeping upright... And wet wipes bc I wasn't allowed to shower for a week!! Maybe some easy snacks for the hotel room. And a pill organizer bc it's super hard to open those pill bottles after surgery. Really recovery with Dr J was pretty easy:)

Thank you Biebie!
How long you had to sleep upright? And just regular pillows?

Lol I was very paranoid and I slept upright for six weeks!! I can't remember how long he actually told me to do it for... Maybe two weeks? I got a reading pillow and leaned regular pillows against it to keep me up. And a neck pillow was super helpful!! ;)

Hi. Had the surgery 4 wks ago with the same dr. Sleeping upright for 2 wks but sleeping on your back for 6wks. I find that my back is in pain if I sleep low I get less pain sleeping higher. Also no showers for 3 wks just bath without wetting thae area, I was taking baths and wiping my upper body with a cloth. And no sex for 6wks. I am going on vacation and can't sleep in the pool or the ocean I should have planned better.
Good luck. Also I had extreme boob greed after the surgery so make sure you go one size biggr from the one you like.

Confused with Sports bra ?

nicole3333
I'm confused with sports bra that I need te wear after surgery. Underwire or not? Padded or not? What size should I get ? I can't find them anywhere specially the ones that has a zip in the front , where did you all get that?

This is the bra my plastic surgeon in Calgary suggested that I get: WonderBra style 7483 - Full support with innovative No Poke WireTM (UPC: 0006847409397).

I bought 2 different sizes through walmart.ca ($24.97). Nurses picked the one that fit the best right after surgery. Took the other one back to Walmart!

Thanks a lot! good suggestions.
I'll check Walmart.ca But did you get a size bigger? or is better to be tight?
July 13, 2015
You definitely want a size bigger. I had almost 3 inches of swelling the first 2 weeks. And you do not want underwire for awhile. I found that I had to put cotton strips between my incisions and the bra band or I was rubbed almost raw.

Thank you Gogranma!
! I bought some of them, from Lululemon, VS, and Wonder bra from Sears. 34 D. Hope they will not be too tight ...

Victoria secret or lululemon. I went to the same doctor. I was an A wanted to be a C i got 300 moderate and i actually wear a D so you will be much bigger than that. I went under muscle as well. Luv them best decision ever!!!
July 13, 2015
Happy to hear that you had great results with the same doctor!!!! No doubts about it!!!
I'll check Victoria secret and Lululemon. I'm thinking to buy them before surgery but not sure if a cup bigger like a D cup ? I'm getting (I hope) 375 cc which will be a full C cup, I
hope so?

I picked up the genie bras at Walmart and love them so comfy and I also bought an under armour front zip that was pricey but you have to buy it directly online. Good luck!! Your size options will fit you perfectly and I think you will get the exact look you want.

Thank you Rossie, about Gennie bra from Wall mart ...is that the name of the brand? and also how larger you got them? I'm a 34 B now, should I get 34 D? (want to be a full C cup or small D)
July 17, 2015
I went to the same dr and they give you 1 bra in black. You can also buy additional bras for 15$ each.

Thank you very much Anitaska!!! I'm glad you told me I can get from them, now I don't have to worry anymore!

Quick recovery method

nicole3333
Has anyone heard of "quick recovery method"?
What is that anyway? Whatever is it I want it! Lol

Yeah I've heard of it called "rapid recovery" or "24 hour recovery"... Basically it's a marketing gimmick. Any good PS (like yours) will do everything they can to make your recovery easy on you. For example, limiting bleeding and trauma to tissue during surgery, selecting an appropriate sized implant, and providing adequate pain meds. But no matter what, you still will need time to heal because it's still surgery and hard on your body! :) Here's Dr J's explanation on his website... http://torontosurgery.com/guide/flash-recovery-after-breast-augmentation/

You're totally right Bie! I really trust Dr Jugenburg!!!
I was just hoping for that magic method of just waking up with my dream boobs and no pain at all! Lol

Lol!! If it helps, I didn't have any pain... It was uncomfortable and tight, especially for the first week, but nothing you can't handle;)
July 30, 2015

My PS instilled a pain killing solution that lasted 48 hrs...breasts were basically numb So I could have gone out and about, etc etc but that is NOT a rapid recovery...it is pain control...Next, is this a general anesthesia?? I was asleep most of the 48 hrs! lol Was not taking pain meds, it was the liquid in my surgical area that controlled pain...the after effects of the anesthesia knocked me out...Some women have local anesthesia for implants..NOT ME!!! It takes you body 6wks usually to healand get rid of all of the anesthesia....don't think it is a good idea to be out and about on day 2...need to rest and heal...I'm an RN and when I had implants replaced (for age--no problems) I missed 3 full wks of work..Didn't want to pull healing tissue, etc etc by the end of my 12hr shift I was exhausted!! No pain,,just beyond tired.. With original implants was not working and same PS said to do as little as possible for first couple of weeks, no arms above head, etc etc and no gym workouts, runnimg etc for 6wks...you're spending a lot of money for this,,why risk it...again all PS have different ideas..just follow the ones you PS uses... good luck

I just had my surgery the week before thanksgiving and had the rapid recovery and it was awesome. No pain meds I was up and about after my surgery went to my sisters house across town took a shower had some food, went for a walk around the block, and then out to dinner. I would recommend the rapid recovery to anyone hands down! I was lifting my arms above my head before I left the surgery center. The only real thing I had problems with for the first few days was sitting up from a laying position, buttoning my pants, and driving ( I only own manuals). But other than that it was back to life as normal mostly. If you have any questions let me know I would be more than happy to answer whatever questions I can

I am scheduled to have a 24 hour recovery BA and they suggest that I only take OTC pain meds and raise my arms over my head before I leave the surgery center. It is a method and it is published. You can find some information at thebestbreast.com
