25yo - Best Decision Ever Made, Largely Thanks to my Amazing Surgeon - Toronto, ON

As a new arrival in Toronto, without my usual support network of friends and family, it was very important to me to find a surgeon that I could trust and feel comfortable with. I’m extremely thankful that I found Dr Neinstein, because he has proven to be exactly this Dr. In my previous experience, when contacting plastic surgery offices you spend a lot of time speaking to receptionists, before actually getting an appointment with the surgeon himself. In Dr Neinstein’s case, as soon as I emailed with my initial enquiry, he responded with a detailed email himself, and from this moment on he has continued to answer every email I have sent him almost instantly – regardless of the time or day I sent it. At my first appointment he took the time he run through all the details of the procedure with me, explaining all my different options, and taking the time to figure out exactly what it was that I was trying to achieve. I never even felt that I had to explain in too much detail what I was looking for, because he seemed to understand instantly. He makes it clear that he is committed to helping women to achieve the best outcome for their particular body, and bases his advice on what is right and will look natural on each individual patient. We came up with a plan and I booked the procedure the same day. In the month between my initial consultation and my procedure I read a lot of online forums of women worrying that they were choosing the wrong size, implant type etc. however I have to say I never once felt this way, because I knew that Dr Neinstein was on the exact same page as I was. As I got closer to the day of surgery I became increasingly more nervous, however Dr Neinstein called me the evening before, as promised, to check that I was all set and didn’t have any last minute questions. When I arrived for my surgery the following day I was quite nervous, having never had any type of surgery before, but all the staff was fantastic in helping me relax, and I do not remember anything between the IV going in my arm and waking up in recovery. Dr Neinstein took the time to check on me various times to reassure me everything went perfectly, before I was on my way home. He took the time to call me later that evening just to check everything was ok. He called me again the following morning and upon hearing that I was having quite a bit of pain he made sure I had a new set of painkillers to try within an hour. He continued to call me every day for the next week, sometimes multiple times a day, just to check everything was OK – even giving me his cell number when he had to go out of town for the weekend, calling me during the weekend, and meeting me at his office immediately upon returning to Toronto, just to check everything was OK. I honestly feel as though this is the best decision I have ever made – I am only a week and a half post op, but so far I love the results. The size is perfect, I have had no bruising whatsoever, and the incisions seem small and neat. I have read a lot of forums online of women claiming they don’t care whether their surgeon acts professional, is likeable, personable, listens to their concerns etc. as long as he has a reputation to do a good job – but with Dr Neinstein you can have both! He has done such an amazing job for me, and I can tell you that it ABSOLUTELY does make a difference to have a Dr who cares about his patients and makes time to make them feel important. As much as these procedures have become routine outpatient surgeries, it is still surgery, and the recovery process can be pretty physically and emotionally taxing; and I can tell you from experience how much of a difference it makes knowing that your Dr is caring enough to make himself available to listen to any concerns you may have.
