Body Lift and Thigh Lift After 100lb Weight Loss - Toronto, ON

As I begin my weight loss journey I knew I would have excess skin and was magically hoping that I wouldn't (wishful thinking) but I knew that wouldn't the case from once being 130lbs to my highest weight of almost 270lbs. I knew I would be needing an arm lift breast lift and thigh lift but I honestly did not think I needed the body lift from the beginning to the end of my journey. I was ok with needing the others but for some reason couldn't except the body lift I guess because once I took a lot of pride in my waist line and mid section and my butt and wanted my body to just go back to what it once was and was honestly scared of the outcome and also reading stories about other people's outcome about their butt looking elongated and flattened.
So finally after losing all the weight I began searching for surgeons and initially when I was looking for a surgeon it was for a thigh lift and mini tummy tuck and I had no intentions on having surgery in Canada I wanted to go abroad mainly because of costs and just being away while recovering but my sister convinced me to just have a consultation with a couple of surgeons in Toronto and get there perspective before going to anyone else and I begin researching. Real self really helped with this. We do have a lot of highly qualified surgeons here and I wondered how I would ever decide on who to see. So I had decided on three surgeons just for consultations. I had two consultations and thought I'd make the third one afterwards.
So I set my first consultation was with Dr. Marc DuPere after having a lovely conversation with his office coordinator Joyce. She was very informative and helpful right from the very first phone call and to the first consultation that I went to with my two sisters and she made me feel very comfortable took a couple of photos before meeting Dr. Marc DuPere and did tell me that I may need more then a mini tummy tuck.
So finally I get to meet Dr. Marc DuPere and he was amazing and took his time with me answering questions and even my sister's questions and took his time he was lovely and is. He told me how he would go about the thigh lift which would be a vertical thigh lift and then came the tummy tuck and he told me that I would be better suited for a body lift and I kept thinking what my butt would look like. because after a body lift your butt usually looks flat but Dr. marc DuPere assured me that it would not alter the shape it would just enhance it and make it look as natural as possible and the perk it. Dr. Dupere has an eye for these surgeries and understood what my curves meant to me. After the traumatic experience I went through with my weight gain.
So I right after the first consultation I decided that I wanted to have my surgery with him and booked my surgery for the thigh lift with two weeks of the consultation and the body lift would follow soon after. Both surgeries went great I was healing amazingly
I am so grateful to know that there was a Doctor like Dr. Dupere that would hold my hand and be there every step of the way. Even my sister's fell in love with him right away.

So I am finally submitting a review it's been four months post op. I decided to write a review because I Know how much people need them in deciding on a surgeon and I was one of those people.

Also I didn't intend on submitting pictures but I want people to know how amazing he is with his hands and how thin and straight my scar is and how low it is which is not easy to do and takes a true artist for this. When you meet him you know how much he loves doing what he does and it's not just a job to him.
