Do you mind letting us know how much your surgery cost?

Just out of curiosity, did you get insurance coverage or was this complete out of pocket?

My name is Maria, I am 24 years old, on October 2nd I had labiaplasty. I had thought about getting this procedure for years because of personal hygiene and I was just uncomfortable with my large labia since I was young. I finally found the perfect surgeon - Dr. Jugenburg at Toronto Cosmetic Surgery Institute.
First 5 days after labiaplasty were rough. There was crazy swelling, and of course- pain. It was painful to urinate... But what do you expect.. You're all stitched up down there. I'm a paranoid type of person when it comes to pain and healing. Dr. Jugenburg and his staff were GREAT at dealing with my many questions and emails. They emailed me back instantly about my procedure concerns daily, even texted me to see how everything was going. They were all so reassuring when I was nervous about something. (I get worried easily.)
I got back to work 2 weeks after surgery. I did have to take it easy, walking slower than usual etc. I iced myself daily, 2 times a day, for about 3 weeks straight. It helped A LOT with the swelling. I kept the whole area extremely clean from day 1 of the surgery, showered with soap and water 2 times a day.
I am now on week 6, and everything seems to be great ! I JUST went for my check up today, and Dr. Jugenburg said everything looks great! He said I'm able to start going back to the gym which I'm extremely happy about!!! After week 4 it had been smooth sailing !
I am so happy I went through with this surgery, it looks way better, feels so clean, I just love it. Of course you're going to be in pain, and uncomfortable for a week or 2, but for me, I don't even remember the pain and it was SO WORTH IT. Labiaplasty was my FIRST surgery I have ever gotten, so I really didn't know WHAT to expect from this surgery, or any surgery in general. I am no longer cleaning myself a million times a day like I use to, and no longer embarrassed !!!! Cannot wait to see the final result in a month or so!
Thank you Dr. Jugenburg !!!!
