I hate my belly button!!

9 months later and my belly button looks like a hole. My toddler keeps asking me what happened? It looks awful. I plan to have a belly button revision next year. My Mom and Sister also thinks it looks hideous. I thought I'd be able to wear a crop top after the surgery. That's not going to happen. I highly recommend when you're choosing your surgeon, look at their belly buttons. I knew I didn't like the way my surgeon did belly buttons, but they didn't look this bad. I thought I could deal with it. Most of hers look like slits. Mine looks like a damn hole. Like how? I'm so disappointed. It was between her and Dr. Mike Song. I should've gone to him.

Week 8 update - It was worth it!

I feel great! It was completely worth the money and time! Healing is going great! I'm about to workout at home, mainly doing cardio. I'm able to pickup my toddler. Again, I need to eat healthier, especially while being at home all day due to the Coronavirus stay at home order in Georgia. Here's an update on my scar. I'm using silagen silicone strips given to me by my doctor for my scar.

Week 7

I forgot to post for week 6. It's been crazy with Coronavirus preparedness activities. On week 6 I was officially cleared to workout and resume all normal activities. I no longer have to wear my compression garments. Only thing I wear now is a scar minimizing strip. I'm to wear that for 8 weeks. My belly is still strange looking to me. Doctor says I don't have a keloid, but to put my finger inside it and massage. My hole is so small a marble won't fit inside. Sigh. I'm still very swollen and bloated. I admit I also haven't been eating the best diet. I plan to start home workouts since the gyms are now closed because of Coronavirus. Other than that all is well.
