I Can't Believe Today is Tummy Tuck Day

Today is the day I will get my tummy tuck with lipo on the flanks. I'm a little anxious, yet part of me is in denial that this procedure is going to happen. I feel a little guilt because I have two kids and I won't be able to do as much with them for awhile. Other Mom's who have gone through this have said they felt the same way, but it's important we do something for ourselves. I'm really looking forward to the repair of my diastasis recti. I love to workout, but have so much pain doing any type of ab exercises. Hopefully, today will be the start of a new beautiful beginning for me and my abs. I'll keep you all posted. Wish me luck.

First let me say my experience the day of surgery was Amazing from the time I walked in the door. The receptionist was ready for me and nurse came a few minutes and took me to the back where I provided a urine sample and changed into my hospital robe and compression socks. Another nurse came in about 30 minutes later and hooked me up to an IV. Around 15 minutes Doctor Joiner came in and have me anesthesia and 2 minutes later Doctor Alderman came and marked me for surgery. The last I remember is her saying, "I'm going to take good care of you." Then I woke up after the surgery with my regular clothes on and two drains. While at home I was great, no pain and at and I slept well. Best experience ever on that day.
