Update 8/26
So I got an email yesterday that my last month of aligners should be here Monday!!! It's bittersweet. I'm so close to being done! I just started M3W3/4.
You'll probably read lots of reviews about delays in shipments but aside from the initial set of aligners taking a little longer than expected, it was smooth sailing once I started. They actually sent months 2 and 3 before I finished month 1 which was awesome. So just have some patience and don't let all the negativity from impatient SDC users sway your decision to try it too much.
I'm also excited because my teeth are moving right on track with no problems. I don't see the need for refinements if they keep it up next month, they're almost completely straight already with one month left to go! So yes, SDC definitely works you just have to adhere to the 22 hour rule. I haven't heard anything from the orthodontists associated with SDC yet but the staff that operate the live chat are very helpful and answer all of my questions even if it's almost midnight. They're also very quick to respond to emails. It's taking a little while to hear back about the impressions but I'm taking weekends into consideration for delays. Hoping to hear back from them by Tuesday
