The time has finally come i will be getting my nose done, I have been wanting this for years but until now have enough money for the procedure, I have loved reading everyone's different stories on here. To be honest some scared me but most of them were encouraging! I will be having my surgery 11/14/2014 with Dr. Juan Carlos Fuentes in TJ which is only 2 hrs away from me. I emailed him for a consultation he emailed me back the same day which was great asked for pictures, I sent him the pictures and he sent me some back with modification, lets just say i fell in love. He was great at answering my questions and in a timely matter. I read many reviews on his work and they were all great! also did research on other Doctors but i think in head I already knew i wanted him as my Dr.... I'm so excited I wish it was tomorrow, I will be uploading pictures soon, I'm sure you will all agree it was in need of this surgery!

If anyone has tips or suggestion of items I should purchase that will help with the recovery please do inform me. I hope to have pictures soon, just haven't had time unfortunately...

I had my nose with Dr. Fuentes on August 15th! I wasn't nervous at all either until it was time to head over to the clinic. But you have nothing to worry about, im sure it will go great! Dr. Fuentes and Mirna his patient coordinator are great. I would recommend you buy frozen peas and latex gloves that way you can ice your eyes with that. Also buy nasal spray this is a must! I didn't buy it until 7 days after surgery and saw a huge difference. The membranes in your nose (don't know any of the medical terms) will cause a lot of congestion so in order to be able to breathe a little better you should get nasal spray, I bought "Sterimar" for about $15 at a pharmacy in TJ. Also arnica pills will help with the bruising and make sure to make jello or soups because the first like 2 days you will probably have trouble eating any solids because they might be hard to chew.
