I cant believe its been a year!!! I have been doing well. The only issue is that Ive gained 10 pounds!! Yikes. I need to get consistent with working out. Overall, I am still extremely happy with my results. I feel a lot more confident and my clothes fit so much better. My stomach still does not have full sensation but It does not bother me. I am happy I decided to embark on this journey. Time to work out!!

You look stunning. Wow! When did you notice your seroma finally subside? I'm at that stage where I also gained about 10 lbs. Im almost 7 mo post op drainless tt. Finding a new passion in working out has recently saved me.
I forgot when my whole seroma cleared up. Im over a year now and its not an issue anymore.
Omg I’m in shock with your results, you look amazing!!!! Did you get liposuction in your abdomen too? Or just the tummy tuck?
No lipo for me
Thank you for answering, I’m having mine August 20th my doctor suggest a liposuction if my tummy but i don’t think i have to much fat so I’m thinking just the tummy tuck without the lipo
Good luck with your upcoming TT. Mine was done June 20th, no drain. I also didn’t have a lot of fat, but I did go ahead with my surgeon’s recommendation of Lipo to my flanks, and I am glad I did. The Lipo caused a good amount of bruising, but it had almost completely subsided in a week. It was sore, but not excessively so. I have had a relatively easy recovery and move around well. I would recommend you speak with your surgeon again, about the Lipo to get a feel for how much better your results could be with it. You really don’t want to go through the whole thing and then discover you wish you had opted for Lipo. Good luck.
Thank you, yeah you right I have an appointment this Tuesday I’ll ask all of that, it was just in my abdomen because last year I did a lipo and my hips waist and upper back so he said I don’t need more from those areas, how was the pain? I’m afraid of that
Its a personal choice really. If you feel you dont need it, then dont spend the money on it. It can define your waist a bit more and enhance your curves- but for me, ive always had a thinner waist.
Wait- I read your replay again. Why lipo on your tummy!!?? It should be your flanks usually. Seems odd. Ask more questions about that. Also- the pain sucks! But with exprel, its totally manageable the first few days. Recovery is just loooong. Patience and a good support system are key.
Yes from my tummy he said because he wants me to have a flat tummy but yeah I’ll ask more about it, he is using exprel for pain also but girl I’m like scare about the pain I have read so many girls saying is bad, I had liposuction from my waist, flanks and upper back last year that’s why I don need that, but in between my belly button and my pelvis is so thin I have no fat, and between my belly button and my boobs I have more fat so he said he wants to perform the lipo so that way Can match and be all flat, hopefully I explain it good
Fantastic! Thanks for sharing your experience. I have mine on Monday! Feeling nervous...Im glad you get to enjoy so many years of a great tummy. I am 56 and have been considering doing this for 20 years. Well, finally...guess I will be a hot grandma! Prayers please!
Congrats and I will send prayers your way. My mom is 65 and now she wants to do it too!! Its a journey for sure but so worth it!
Thanks. I’d love your prayers!!
You got it!
You healed so we'll. Your results are AMAZING! I'm thinking about getting a tt next year. Still undecided. I've had five kids and my tummy isn't the same. No matter how much I workout my stomach. I still have loose skin. How was your pain level po?
Think of it as an investment in yourself. As moms we give so much of ourselves physically and mentally. It’s ok to get a little back, so we can keep on giving on down the road. When you feel good, your spouse and kids reap the benefits.
Thanks! Pain was bad but manageable with the meds. I cant recommend exparel enough!!! Coming out of surgery I had no pain with it. Eventually it wears off so be on top of the meds. Set alarms so you dont forget to take them. The journey was long and difficult but so worth it for me.
Your story is so inspiring.. thank you for the information. I'm truly leaning towards getting one. You look fantastic!
Me to !!!!!! Maybe in a year or two we can re thank her for the inspiration!
Thnk you!! I was also inspired by many women on here. I wanted to pay it forward so I documented my journey as well. Good luck to you!!
So sweet of you! I had amazing support and inspiration from many women on this site!! The fact that I wa able to do the same makes me really happy.
Yassss! Absolutely! I couldn't agree more :)

6 months tomorrow!

Looking good. I’m still numb on parts of my belly. Since increasing exercise, I have seen more puffiness in my lower belly area. It feels like fluid but not like fluid that needs to be drained. I will go to my 6 month appt in another week or so and Ill address the issue then.

Can you please tell what are you using for the scar? You look amazing!
I am using biocorneum. My Surgeon provides it.
Thank you very much!
There is a post this girl is talking about Tupler technique when you do breathing instead of ab workout! Looking beautiful.
Never heard of it. Ill look it up! Thanks
What did your surgeon said about the puffiness in your lower abdomen when u work out?
Sorry for the late reply. Everything seems to have worked its self out. I start complaining about something and then a couple weeks later, it goes away. Go figure.
About how much did it cost I went for a construction at another doctor 17,000

Im doing well and have been enjoying bikinis over the summer. I still swell every night and I dont have complete feeling of my stomach yet. I finally stopped using the hospital binder at 3 months. Now Im using spanx type briefs and I am so dependent on them. I dont know if its a crutch or if I really still need the support. When I spend a day without them, all I want to so i get home and put them on. I need to get more consistent with working out and getting core strength back. I also need to stretch more. Maybe that will help me get rid of these spanx!! It will also help me fit into clothes better. My sister encouraged me to wear a smaller bikini bottom to show off my figure. I just couldnt. I put them on, took a picture of myself and when i saw them, i switched them for ones with more coverage. I just feel so uncomfortable with my bum hanging out like kim kardashian!! Well for your viewing pleasure, I have included those pics so you can see what I mean. This is also why I had such issues with finding a compression garment that fit right. “Itty bitty waist and a round thing in your face...”
