Hello I am 41, 5.4, 160 pounds prior op, and weight goals is 120-125 lbs, this was my weight until I was 35 yo, have Hipotiroism, was Diabetic on my 2 pregnancies, hypertense and have diabetes from bought sides of my family..my kids are 5 and 3, so I am no spring chicken and If I was to continue this way I was not going to risk my health and not see my kids grow, I have spent thousands on nutrition experts, everything you can imagine only to loose 10 pounds. The last diet I lost 15 punds and gained 25 in a period of 2 months!!!!
I have no control, I can eats a bag of broccoli and also a bag of chips, I can eat a whole pizza, its just me. Therefore I decided and the team at LIMARP, Tijuana center decided that I was a candidate even with a low BMI 26.
Anyway just wanted to share my story since there is not much info about my type of cases...it cost me $5k, includes 2 night saty, all pre and post team support, nut, psychologists, trainer, every thing.
Dr. Liz Pompa is the first woman world wide named the no. 1 in the field and I am honored to be her patient.
And know here I am, obviously I will not loose 30 pounds on the first month since that Is my total weight goal but have no idea how much should Expect to loose.
I am Suffering from “brain hunger” I want pizza, tacos, BEER!!!!! Will I eventually eat that?

This is me 3 days after surgery... 5.4, 1.54 lbs, 41 years old and 2 kids. Prior to pre opt diet was 160lbs, lost 4 depressing pounds on a 3 day liquid diet before surgery and 4 day liquid diet after, making that 7 days all together

I appreciate your post! I am in a similar position BMI wise.. 5'7 & 172lbs I am 42 and have struggled with my weight since I was 10 at my highest weighed 250 ninteen years ago. I have done every diet known to man and cannot seem to get where I want to be. I am thinking about the Plication. Look forward to hearing your results!!

hi, I don’t know what Plication is, but I understand the struggle. I actually didn’t tell anyone only my Husband, Mom and a dear friend, because people think that you have to wait until you are obese to take action and sometimes it is not that simple. good luck

I am 4 days post op. I’m 30 years old and weighed about 177 preop and was 173 the day of surgery. Im the exact same today after 4 days of liquids! Since we are similar in age, bmi and surgery dates I would love to keep in touch to hear your results!

Hi nice to “meet” you, I am now in my phase 2 diets, meaning I can have greek yogurt and creams and soup, but I am a bit tired of the diet and I do get hungry. every 2 weeks my nut changes phases, making a total of 6 equal to 3 months. I am down to 138.5 lbs as of today.

also I must confess that I have cheated in the sense that I had a bit of very soft noodles in my soups, I just can’t take it

I have lost 5.4 lbs in my first week post op. this last day I didn’t lose any but I did go down an inch. you should take your measurements on top of going by just the scale. I’ve lost a total of 3.5 inches around my stomach. I haven’t checked anywhere else yet because my main concern is my tummy. ALL my weight go there and I look pregnant. I still look like I am just not as far along lol your weight loss is a great motivator for me since everyone with a low bmi to start lose really slow. I’d be happy anywhere in the 130’s. the 20’s would put me over the moon!!!

Update 3

Hi, on January 8th I had my operation. You can see my progress on the picture I added.
I must say liquid diet is brutal, I am starting to hate the Premier Protein and the broths, yuck, hoping on next Wednesday when my new diet plan will change my options start to get a bit better.
You do feel a weird hunger that gets satisfied by a few sips of protein or jello.
Have a great one all
