I still have some swelling but thought I would try on a swimsuit I had but could never wear. I think I would feel comfortable wearing this in public even with the swelling.

I wanted to share a little update with everybody. About day 25 for the initial procedures and day 18 post lift. Everything seems to be healing right on schedule. I have started to sleep on my side for a few hours at a time which makes me very happy. But sleeping on my side means lots of pillows and blankets around to support me. I'm moving around well with very little pain from the incisions. The feeling is coming back in several areas around the liposuction sites. I have started to use Mederma PM on my scars. Massaging the scars seems to be helping to smooth them out. I do have swelling that comes and goes. Most notably after I have been working all day and not wearing my compression garment. So today I have my compression garment back on which is feeling more comfortable now that the majority of the swelling has decreased. I am still feeling very good about my decision to have the surgeries and can't wait for the final healing process to complete which I know will take a few more months. But this summer I will feel much more confident wearing my summer clothes and a bathing suit. Might even have to kick off the summer with a pool party at my house. I avoided that like the plague since moving into my house two years ago. My boyfriend says he can see a new confidence in me and how I carry myself and the smile on my face. The challenge I have now is he keeps on asking me if I am going leave him. I keep telling him that if I was going to leave him I would've left them along time ago. And that I now feel much better about myself and I want to go out and do more things together. I am very grateful that he is so supportive of me but wish he was a little bit more secure in his own self. I will have to keep on reassuring him and my words as well as actions by going out and having fun together.
