I have been an esthetician for many years and don't like to use make up. As things started to go south after 60, I started researching the doctors that could improve my look without looking unnatural. In the end, I chosed to go to Dr. Juan Fuentes, in Mexico. I admit, I was a little nervous, but after testimonials from colleagues and clients I decided to take a chance. I was blown away by the clinic, the staff and most important by Dr Fuentes. I couldn't ask for better care, perfect communication and great follow up. Not only a skilled surgeon, but also a modest and caring doctor. The bad rumors about Mexico were non existent, the staff was so sweet and caring, fluent in English, and I strongly recommend the recovery boutique hotel inside the clinic for recuperation. Three month later, I am running around without make up and everyone gives me 40 years of age instead of 62. Mission accomplished, thank you Dr. Fuentes!

Thank you for your post, would love to se pics! I met with Dr Fuentes a few years ago and was VERY impressed with him and his office. He also has a beautiful state of the art surgery room. I'm considering having a facelift with him within the next few months. Can you tell us about how much you paid and exactly what you had done? Facelift and upper and lower eyes, forehead lift? Price! Thank you!

I just had my facelift with Dr Fuentes on Friday. I paid $6600 for neck and mid facelift and he also did my upper eyelids. He had done my lipo 10 years ago and upper eyelids and injected fat into my butt for $4000. He did a beautiful job on all of it. I knew I would come back to do my facelift with him.

Thanks so much for sharing the price you paid. Are you happy with the face & necklift that Dr Fuentes did? I'd like to schedule my appointment soon, just trying to work out all the details. Did you stay in the recovery boutique and how was that? If you stayed in the recovery boutique, how long would you suggest staying? Price per day/week? Any tips from your experience to share?? Thanks!

Hi I am so sorry I just saw this now. Yes I am very happy with my facelift/necklift . My husband and I stayed in the recovery boutique for two nights or rather I stayed up stairs one one and in the RB the other while my husband stayed both nights. The surgery was on Friday and I was very ready to go home Sunday. For me it was a very easy surgery. We are vegan and they did make vegan food for us. Bring a ton of DVD's to watch because there is not much options TV wise and I was not in the mood to read. We drove to the border so if you are coming on a plane, I'm not sure about that. You do look pretty scary on day three with a swollen basketball head so I could hide in the car. LOL!
