51 YO Tired of Looking Tired! Tijuana, MEX (COSMED)

Here are the photos from my recovery and the final results. Also a few from the Recovery Boutique so that you can see how nice that was. One final comment...the 8500.00 included my flight and the stay at the Boutique for 7 days!

I started researching my procedure 3 years ago in anticipation of being ready at the age of 50-52 for a face/neck/brow and eye lift. I found Dr. Quiroz here o n RealSelf and was more than impressed with the reviews and then with his credentials.

I took before photos and sent them by email. Dr Q called and we spoke of what I expected and what he could do for me. I was impressed immediately with his manner and his suggestions. I wanted to go for everything. I was not looking to do one thing at a time. Dr. Q assured me that he could and would take care of me and that I would be pleased with my results. He could have not been more RIGHT!

The journey began on April 26th when I flew to San Diego and the van picked me up at the airport I stayed at an off sight hotel that first night before the surgery and the locals were so very sweet and accommodating (communication can be a challenge if you speak no Spanish, but they will work very hard to bridge that challenge and many speak plenty of English to get you through).

The next morning I was up and a taxi drove me a very short distance to the facility and dropped me off. I was taken back to a room at 7am and prepped for the upcoming surgery. This part of the process was very smooth and organized. I met, in person, Dr. Q for the 1st time and I liked him every bit as much as I felt that I would.

I was ushered back to a waiting area to a large comfy recliner where a nurse started an iv and gave me a sedative. I dozed off! They came for me and took me back to the operating room where my fresh new look was done. I would also like to mention that my surgery was done under twilight which I liked very much.

The surgery went off with out a problem and I spend the first night post op in the recovery room. The next morning I was taken down to the Recovery Boutique where I remained for the rest of my visit...7 more days. I can't say enough nice things about this place. The ladies were excellent caregivers and there to meet your every need. I was so happy I decided to stay there. The food was EXCELLENT. The company was very good. And again, the care was top notch.

I can't say enough good things about my experience. I am thrilled with the results. People actually acted stunned when I tell them how old I am. I feel wonderful and now I feel like I look as good as I feel.

I had my surgery 4 months ago and I am friends with my mirror again!! If you have any doubts about going to Tijuana for a procedure let me assure you, it was a wonderful experience with the best professional care available. Dr. Q, like all the doctors at Cosmed, are highly qualified and the best in the field. Dr. Q has every known credential I think the US offers. He is caring and the best at what he does in my opinion. Thank you, Dr. Q, and all the professionals at Cosmed and the Recovery Boutique!
