For a 25 year old, I had oddly shaped and saggy breasts (32 B), as well as downward facing nipples. I'm about 125 lbs, 6'0" and relatively slender. After careful consideration, I decided to undergo an augmentation procedure, to fix the shape and slant of my breasts and even the size. Dr. Fuentes was recommended to me by a handful of satisfied clients, and after research on cost both stateside and in Mexico, I decided to move forward with him.

The communication regarding my issues and the procedures was sparse but ok, and I was assured this was normal given the routine and low-risk nature of the procedure. I had sent a number of photos and comments regarding what I desired, which was a moderate profile implant, no larger than 300 cc.

When I arrived for my day-before consultation, Dr. Fuentes told me that he would be using high profile implants, but the results would be the same as I had desired. I even brought photos with me into the day-before consultation to confirm exactly what I was looking for, but he dismissed them because he apparently knew exactly what needed to be done.

The overall surgical and post-surgery experience was very nice. I stayed in the Cosmed suites, which was very enjoyable and very convenient for recouperation.

After the surgery, I was told that the implants would take up to a year to settle and become soft, and I diligently did the exercises required to help the process along. I received no follow up from Dr. Fuentes after I left the clinic, but again, didn't see that as an immediate issue.

After the waiting period suggested by cosmed and Dr. Fuentes, I had the stitches removed by a local doctor. Everything seemed to be fine, but as the months went on, the scars left by Dr. Fuentes began to show, and they're HORRIBLE. I called and emailed the clinic to see if there was anything I could do, no response.

To make matters worse, my nipple sizes are completely assymebtric, and my left nipple is now three times its initial size. The high profile implants were too round for my build, as I suspected. Overall, It's incredibly embarrassing and I'm very disappointed in the results.

I've had a number of plastic surgeons look at the damage, and it appears that if I desire to fix the shape, scars and nipple size, I would have to have the procedure completely redone. I truly believe that this was the result of poor performance on behalf of Dr. Fuentes, but I would definitely recommend the decision to undergo this procedure If you're unhappy with your breasts. The pain level was creatively low to moderate, and I think if this procedure had been done correctly, I'd be very happy.

I would not recommend Dr. Fuentes for this procedure, and would encourage those of you considering this facility to spend the extra money and go elsewhere, be in domestic or abroad.

I hope you were able to eventually get the results you were seeking. I am confused as to whether you had a lift and if so what type? DId you only have a donut lift?

I was 24 at the time of the procedure, and I was told a lift wasn't necessary. I had never had children and didn't suffer from excessive sagginess (I was only a size A pre-procedure). The droopiness, the areola size, and the splaying were all post-operative results. After I posted the above, I was contacted by Cosmed clinic and was told that my results are likely the result of a tuberous breast disorder condition, a condition I was not made aware of prior to my surgery. After extensive research, it's evident that the procedure for TBD correction is very different from a simple augmentation. I was incredibly disappointed to find out that my natural breast shape was a result of a congenital disorder, because it would have definitely shaped the way I approached corrective surgery.

I finally decided to pursue corrective surgery with a separate doctor, and just had my last pre-operative appointment today. I'll have to have an implant exchange as well as a mastopexy, to correct the results left by Dr. Fuentes. I'll be sure to post the results and further details of my journey on a separate thread!

I too had breast surgery a year ago and was not satisfied. I have larger nipples and scarring that was not present before the surgery. Hoping to get mine redone soon. My breasts are also uneven and he doesn't follow up with his patients.

So sorry this was your experience! I’m getting mine done next week in Houston by Dr. Even Feldman. I had previously been looking into getting them done Mexico to save money but then I read an answer Dr. F had given to a question someone had here about what to expect when seeing a surgeon Mexico and he sold me immediately. He mentioned exactly what you are saying happened, no follow up. Their standards just aren’t the same as here in the states. His prices for just a regular ba are very reasonable. I’m sure a redo is more labor intensive and therefore for expensive but you should look him up. His bio is very impressive. Hope it all works out for you!
