Waste of Money
I am turning 60 and I keep very good care of myself and skin. My doctor told me that I was a candidate for the procedure at the consultation. Immediately after the procedure, I saw a visible lift to my jowls. I had 3 threads placed on each side of my face pulled just below each ear. I was so pleased initially that I even placed a call to the doctor's office to thank him. As the days passed, the lift slowly started falling. On the third day, during my lunch when I was chewing, I felt a sharp pain in my cheek area and it felt like one of the threads broke. I was in tears and called my doctor and informed him. By the 7th day my face looked like I never had the procedure done. At my follow up appointment about 2 weeks later, my doctor said that he thought maybe he didnt pull the threads tight enough so I had the procedure done again at no charge. This time the doctor used two threads on each side of my face pulling up almost the top of each ear. Again, I was pleased with the immediate result as there were no jowls to be seen. That was exactly one week ago but as stated before, I feel like the lift fell each day as the week passed. The jowls are definitely back. In addition, there is a piece of thread next to my lower mouth that is slightly raised. It bothers me as you can see it. The doctor told me that he can remove it by cutting and using a needle but I declined. He said in a few months, it should disappear. I have a followup appointment with him in a week and I plan to let him know how I feel. This procedure just didn't work me and I am sick that I paI'd what I did for it.
