Reviews you can trust, from real people like you.
How it works
  • Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
  • This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
  • Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.
  • Reviews are only removed at the reviewer's request or if they violate our Terms of Service.

If you have questions or believe we should re-evaluate a published review, let us know.

Botched by Dr Mahsa Saleki, SAS Aesthetics

BOTCHED BY DR MAHSA SALEKI. PLEASE AVOID AT ALL COSTS - 1 star as I am forced to select to leave a review.

Extremely unprofessional and erratic behaviour. I had a PDO threads treatment, which has left my face with several indentations. Usually a petite slim face is now left looking severely rounded mid-level, with re-positioned fat pads in the wrong direction. The purpose of the treatment was to create a slight 'lift' in an upwards more V shape face. Instead, I now no longer have a contour to my cheeks which are looking severely puffed. All swelling has subsided, the treatment is well settled, the results are awful. I now look a completely different ethnicity and have friends and family noticing how different I look for the worse. I am extremely tearful, upset and angry. This is my face so it makes one even more upset as you cannot hide it. I finally managed to get an appointment to have the PDO threads dissolved, and was spoken to very rudely by Dr Mahsa. I was overspoken, told my tone will not be tolerated and advised to go elsewhere, when in fact it was Dr Mahsa who behaved extremely unprofessionally. This was in front of my friend who accompanied me, I also recorded the meeting. The tone then quickly tuned to a calm, friendly Dr Mahsa which I had previously experienced - very alarming as this was erratic behaviour of switching between personalities/moods so very erratically. After the dissolving took place, Nia, the receptionist advised the clinic accountants will be processing my refund as she could not process it via the card machine. I left the clinic naively trusting this would happen. I have now chased the refund via email, only to now be advised a refund will not take place. Being a solicitor re-trained in nursing for a change of career path, I am well versed with both my legal rights and medically my recovery and botched results to know from both angles, I have been treated wrongfully, therefore will be pursuing this from both angles. My treatment cost £1,200 in total. I have emails, whatsapp messages, pictures and a full video and voice recording of Nia confirming the refund will take place, only later to deny.

I am not one to leave negative reviews and being an aesthetician myself performing medical grade treatments with a nursing background, I feel strongly against negative reviews against clinics, however in this case, I can now see why there are a large number of negative reviews against this clinic, which seem to miraculously vanish or are accused of being 'fake'. Comments seem to be switched off the instagram post of this clinic Instagram account and accounts are blocked if reviews are left - when I asked Dr Mahsa about this based on researching the clinic more after the treatment went wrong, I was advised the reviews are fake. I initially believed may be fake as I sympathise with any clinic who is wrongly targeted as there is a lot of online bullying between clinics, however, my first hand experience of Dr Mahsa and Sas Aesthetics cofirms the reviews must be true.

Fortunately I have a recording of Nia confirming the refund will be taking place. I will now be pursuing this not only legally via court, but also via governing bodies which Dr Mahsa is registered with to bring to light the extreme unprofessionalism. Not only was this an extremely expensive treatment at £1,200 to have gone wrong with images to prove so, but I have then been unprofessionally treated to have had the refund confirmed and then later denied.

Immediately after the appointment, I even posted on my social media thanking Dr Mahsa for her help in dissolving, as a gesture of kindness, as I felt bad I had to have the treatment reversed even though my face looked terrible, I trusted the dissolving with take away the threads, a refund will be processed and I would be able to go back to feeling myself again, however I wrong.

I have attached an appointment confirmation in the event it is claimed by the clinic that this is either a fake review or they have no record of seeing me as they have done with other reviews below.
