For my 20th birthday (11 years ago) I gave myself a gift of bigger boobs.
At the time, I was just eager to get boobs, I was a VERY small 36b. My Dr at the time persuaded me to go with 390cc. There wasn't much questioning on part, due to being young and we were using saline sizers, and I feel that those aren't much help.
I was working as a cocktail waitress at a strip club, and I remember one of the girls kept telling me to go bigger. I ended up asking the Dr. for 410. At my post op, I remember two other women in the waiting room telling me they went 390 and were extremely disappointed in the size, they felt there was no difference.
11 years later I have found that 410 just hit in my clothes and didn't look that great with my large frame. I ended up a 36d, but that doesn't really in my mind mean anything.
I did a lot of research and ended up with the idea that I wanted to go either 600cc-800cc the second time around. My consultant took the time and assured me that 650 filled to 700 would look great on me. Looking online, 800cc doesn't seem like a lot. I am a women though who LOVES, LOVES, LOOOOVES big boobs. I decided at my pre op that I would go 700cc filled to 750cc. I couldn't be happier.
I am only 4 days post, but I am so extremely happy with my results. My surgeon seemed as though he didn't want me to go so big, but he even agreed at my post op that they look amazing. I have got nothing but positive responses. I am happy I went with my gut feeling.
My surgeon worked in Las Vegas for while, so he has experience with large implants. He also suggested doing lipo in my axillary fold, where most of us ladies have insecurities about our armpit fat. It never really bothered me, but it was on the house so I said why not? It's a bit bruised and overall it's more painful than my breasts... but I'm so happy.
My advice to anyone is to go with what you want to go with. I find a lot of advice on here from surgeons is NOT to go bigger than 600cc.... I find it a crock. It's your money, if someone can't make you happy with what you want, take your money somewhere else. You are a walking billboard for them, so if they can't make you look the way you want with YOUR money, there are plenty out there who will.
I am 5'4 150lbs. I am athletic and I couldn't have of asked for anything better than what I got this past Tuesday for my 31st Birthday! Happy Birthday to me!!!
