hey, thanks for your kind words. I actually have a bunch of tips to share. Pre-op tips: -take arnica to prevent swelling and vitamin c to help with healing and keeping your body and immune system strong and healthy. -eat clean for a month prior to surgery if possible (no drugs no drinking no smoking etc) -buy all your recovery items well in advance so you're not uncomfortable when you're healing... there is nothing more awkward than going out in public a day or two post surgery - because you will look like you are from the exorcist movie lol and ppl will be scared of your appearance or genuinely concerned for your well being (which was embarrassing for me at least as i had to keep repeating what happened to me to everyone who asked and its really none of their business). post op: 1. Follow post op instructions to a T. 2. sleep on your back so you dont mess up the repositioning of your surgery. 3. ^I found buying a travellers neck support pillow brilliant - it really helps with sleeping on your back and keeping your head strait as you're healing / sleeping. For me this pillow was a saving grace as i naturally sleep on my right side/face down. 3. Buying a humidifier really helped because your mouth gets so dry in the first week of healing since you cant breathe out of your nose, so keeping that beside my bed was a life saver. 4. drinking lots and lots of water was also extremely helpful in my healing process not only for my dry mouth but my over all health. 5. Salinex nasal spray was a god send and its important to rinse your passages out daily (i did it 2-3 times a day) and kept it very clean / sterile. 6.when the splint finally comes off i found showering a bit hard because when water hits your face your nose is still tender (even 65 days post op I still have tenderness) so when im showering and washing my face in the stream of water, i just use my hand to shield/ cup over my nose (with slight space between the fingers) and this allows me to easily wash my face pain free. (pain is really not strong just minor tenderness at this point). -hope these tips are helpful to all.

Your own argument is defeated by your argument. your entire first message is not only aggressive, but screems condescension and Yes I agree. This is a website about opinions and for you to trample over other's opinions with your own is imposing your anxieties on others. Each of your posts have been filled with your own anger and while there is freedom of speach you should take your hate speech elsewhere. The condescending tones in yor first message make your words seem very disengenuous "hope your nose doesn't droop and shift to one side like mine, stay blessed my dear". You can change the way you look on the outside but it is clear you can't change the way you look on the inside. Why don't you post some legitimate your before and after photos and let's see the truth.

This comment should be removed. Hate speech is a crime and you can't just accuse people of that crime. Realself should not allow publication of this nonsense.

You are so right . We can change the way we look on the outside but its clear the inside will never change for "you" . Very hurtful comments . But your nose really looks beautiful. You are so lucky you had the best care and you are so happy. Don't we all want and need that when we trust a "dr" with our faces and our life's . Ugly or beautiful we deserve equal care .

It seems as though you need me to explain what I meant by my statement towards you that "you can change what you look like on the outside but you cant change what u look like on the inside" and that was referring to your passive aggressive condescending nature. I Apologize if my words were hurtful but if you expect to be condescending and rude to someone, you shouldn't be surprised to get a reaction. And as a person who believes in equality for all, I feel like you are putting words in my mouth, as I do not think people who are ugly on the inside (mean spirited individuals) deserve less care from a medical standpoint. That would be absurd. Everyone deserves the utmost care when it comes to their health, no life is more valuable than the next. So please, take your intimations elsewhere and refrain from making my thread your "new project". One final remark; we all have an opportunity on here to make a personal statement about our doctor, and for torontonian to have already made hers and trample over mine with her negativity is not fair and equal. People who are reading these reviews will look at everyone's and for this person to saturate every positive review with her own negativity is not giving others a fair opportunity to express themselves. No one has a right to take away from anyone else's experience (including myself for that matter) so I would like to make it clear that I am not in any way trying to take away from negative reviews, I'm just trying to explain that we all should have a fair and equal opportunity to express ourselves and we do that with our own reviews. So please keep your review where it has already been posted and respect other's who have the equal right to make their own review whatever the opinion may be. And I'd just like to close by apologizing to you for this argument going as far as it did. when my patience is tested I react and clearly I should work on that, I'm sorry.

All I'm trying to say is, I'm not going on your personal reviews and cutting you down. We all have a chance to make a statement, try not to take away from others on their personal reviews. You had a chance to make yours, now let others make theirs. Whether or not you're torontonian, going on my review and making negative comments is no different than bullying if those comments are taking away from an innocent post that was made with good intentions. I would appreciate if you could just back off and allow people with positive experiences express themselves in peace.

I'm not saying that at all. All I'm saying for the umteenth time is that you had your comment space and I have mine. Again you're intimating things and putting words in my mouth "torontonian". Stop playing the victim card and start being accountable for your actions. I wish I didn't write as well under your review seems it has upset you so much and I understand when you have such a caring doctor that give you 100 % the needed care why care about others . Sherlock (??!), knowing that any explanation will be obsolete, I should inform you that realself sends you an "automatic" email when someone replies to your posts or even leaves comments on the same thread, hence the timing in our replies! Since I am a REAL person, same as the other people here, I get those messages and make special effort to reply to certain comments ASAP. If you are interested in even more detective work, read the history of my replies, posts, and questions that I've posted here on this website. Well first and foremost thank you Krasn for comparing my writing to a dr's. Also ppl are doing different things all day long I find it too coincidental that the timing and things mentioned in the comments are all quite similar and back to back regardless of real self notifications, ppl have busy lives and it's really unlikely that 3 different ppl are going to take immediate action against my comments all in less than 5-10 minutes. But if u want to sue me (from your previous mention about accusing you for hate speach, by all means if you have the time Id love to see how far you will go). I'm actually sick today laying in bed with a chest cold, and I wanted to thank u for making my afternoon so amusing with your sillyness. Yeah you can comment and there's freedom of speech but you clearly have no respect for other people who might be healing and already in this whole process who cannot change the past and its reay unnessary to worry others who may not need to be worrying while they are healing. U made your review I made mine and if you had any class or respect for others you wouldn't be taking my review this far. Your experience happed over 4 years ago. Like are you seriously still going on and on? Dr S has had a hell of a lot more patients after you and I'm he has learned from his mistakes and since then has had a lot more practice. You can be angry but there comes a time when you just need to move on. Personally if I had your experience sure I would be mad for a year or two but I'd rectify it - fix it - say what I had to say and leave it at that. Not obsessively slam the guy over half a decade later.

Oh, I forgot to say that you cannot be "accountable" for doing something when you actually didn't do it!! However, I hold, Solomon, the nosegod(!), accountable for what HE did to me. Do you even know what these words mean or are you just opening up a dictionary and throwing words around without understanding what they really mean???? no it's not your face or your life that is a joke to me, it's your obsession with being angry, and trying to always get the last word in (as you attempt to degrade me me here). Do you bully people like this in your day to day life too, or is it just behind a computer screen where you don't have to reveal your identity? I hope you're not holding stress over this thread. I'm so sorry it's going this way so far. But on the other side there is staying calm to speed healing. Now you might need to crank those efforts up. : / Your nose is so lovely! Don't worry. (Best advice I give my kid, that is literally impossible to take by hearing it). I don't expect you will be sharing here much but if you have any pre op or post op advice I'm reading daily as I prepare for this, one of the biggest decisions of my life! Ahhh.

I just looked at your photos and compared them with torontonians and I believe you are the same person. Stop making alternate account its really obvious.

You need to check your eyes...Making double and and triple reviews is what someone's happy "patients" do. Whatever your agenda, I hope it's worth it. At the end of the day, you have to live with your conscience. By the way, the "hate speech" accusation has legal liabilities in case you are going around accusing people of lying and spreading hate speech. Dear, this is a lawsuit waiting to happen. Watch your language carefully.

LOL! Sorry but I am not the same person as Torontonian. You looked at my pictures and you looked at hers and you can see that both of our noses look similar. Our noses are the work of Dr. Solomon. So sorry to alarm you but there are other people out there that aren't happy with his results. I don't go around making "fake accounts" I am also not on here to pick fights with people like you. I gave you a compliment and you spit venom out and make false claims. There are many people on this website sharing their stories, good and bad and each of them has a right too. Not every outcome is going to be a good one and no doctor out there is never going to have an unhappy patient. Sorry!

Your bad experiences don't bother me, you have every right to make a review. What bothers me is that you made your reviews. And you should give others the opportunity to make theirs in peace. Also it is bothersome to have someone disguise themselves with alternate accounts and posing as several people when really you are one in the same. I can see how making 2 additional accounts would make you feel more secure in your attacks of my opinion. If you're different people let's see the proof, torontonian should Post a full picture of her face if it's not the same nose. That's all I'm saying. Let's put an end to this.
