Fractional Resurfacing

So I did this laser last summer, I kinda forgot to review it here. Either way, I have been always wanted to do it but I know it was going to be expensive so I was saving. I was doing my research and saw this click called south-east med spa or something like that on LA. they have many pictures and video review so I was confident that they would do a great job. I live in las vegas but I drove them like for 5 hours to go to the clinic. long story short they want to charge $2700 per laser and needed to find a driver since they would put me on meds to make me half sleep. I was shocked at the cost and being smart as I took as much info as I can such as a name of the machine, company name, model number, how it works etc.... it was the Sciton Profractional RX. I went back here to las vegas and called the company if they have any provider here in las vegas and I found one. I went to Thomas dermatology and talk to them, pretty much same info from given back in LA, bleaching cream for 1 month before the procedure, antibiotic couple days before and 1 week after the laser. On the day of my procedure, the nurse asked me If I had a driver but I did not have, the dermatologist said some people don't need to take any pills if they have a high pain tolerance. I was already there and no way to cancel my treatment since I took a 10days off from work. they put me on numbing cream and wrap my face with plastic wrap for like 20min ish or so, they cleaned my face and started the laser. I was very impressed with Dr, Christine since she recommended me to do the spot treatment first before we do the entire face. pretty much spot treatment is that they do an extra laser treatment on the area that you want to treat the most. After the spots treatment, she did the entire face. I honestly I wasn't painful at all but the noise of the laser makes it scary. I had a nose cartilage implant, jaw and chin implant so my pain tolerance was higher than most people. if this was your first time doing the laser make sure you have the driver to drive you back home or uber. After she did the laser on my entire face they put some ice pack and blow my face with cold air. 10min ish after the laser I was dying for real. I guess numbing cream stop working or something, I was in so much pain that I was about to walk out form the clinic and go to the pharmacy to get some ibuprofen. I was breathing in and out deep, I was like giving a birth mode lol. after 30min Dr told me that I can go home but she told me that make sure go home quickly as possible because the UV can penetrate to my skin very very deep and I would just burn my face and ruined the procedure. They gave me some papers that contain information about how to take care your face the day after laser and what not to eat to minimize the inflammation etc... it was summer time and I live like 30min away from the dermatologist so I was driving the highway like fast and furious. I was cursing every single people to move my way and speeding. lucky I got home without any ticket. aftercare was kinda a pain in the ass because you supposed to wash your face with waster vinegar, also my dermatologist wanted to see me like 3time during the week to make sure I was doing ok. make sure you have plenty of food and movies to watch because you will get bored. the cost was only $900 but I got some belacing cream so went around 1k but compare to back In LA they wanted to charge me $2500 for the exact same procedure with the same machine. so if you live in LA and want to do the fractional, would be way cheaper to do it here in las vegas, just say at Airbnb private room and drive back to LA at night to your home or something. why would you pay 3 times for the cost of the same product? its been 3 months now and I would say I saw a significant difference in texture and overall acne scars. I would do it again soon.

I had a bad acne scar so I decided to do it for...

I had a bad acne scar so I decided to do it for the first time, I went to LA because there a really popular clinic called south coast med spa or something that treats acne scar but the cost for one procedure was $3000 one time. Being a smart ass I took as much information as I can about the Name of the machine and what model etc.. I went to Online and look for a company and find they provider here in Las Vegas. I found a couple of providers but at the same time, I wanted to go to a reputable dermatologist. Thomas dermatology had a 3-star review on yelp but I decided to go there after my further research.

1day- Dr, Christine L. Crovetti provided me with 5 pages of papers that contain information about aftercare, food to avoid for a week before a procedure to eliminate inflammation. Also, she prescribed me with antibiotic and anti-virus.

1 week later- Unfortunately she only do the laster treatment every WED so I had to wait for another week. So make a sure plan for your visit and taking OFF at work before you do it. I took the antibiotic/virus one day before the procedure.
The put the numbing cream and the nurse said If I had a driver today. I guess some people take some numbing pills to eliminate the pan but I didn't know about it so I end up doing the treatment with only the numbing cream and without the numbing pill. The Procedure was very painful and loud. On my first experience for Fraction laser they never mention about spot treatment, basically, they treat the bad area aggressively rather than do the whole face with the same level then done. so she did the spot treatment with a higher level for a bad area and then she did the normal level for the whole face.
It was really hurt after but I was biting my lips and said to myself that NO PAIN NO GAIN [RS bleep]!!! after she did the whole face they put my whole face with woven sponges with some cold water while they blowing my face with cold air using some machine. after 5 min of procedure that was the time I experience the most pain. I think the numbing cream stop working and my whole face was in the pian. This is for real and I was about to walk OUT and go home to take some ibuprofen. That was why the nurse asked me If I had a driver. Next time I'm gonna do this again I will make sure I take an ibuprofen or pain relief before the procedure. I just keep saying that NO pain, NO gain.
They let me go home after 30min or so but she mention about aftercare and she told me to go home soon as possible because the sun would burn my whole face VERY VERY fast. I drove the highway like a fast and furious while curing the other drivers. The aftercare was a very pain in an ass because you supposed to wash your face with waster/vinegar every couple hours for couple days and apply this cream that they give you. Your whole face will BLEED!! and make sure you have a lot of food in your home because you are going to look like wearing a Halloween mask so you can't go out. The other downside was Dr, Christine wanted to follow up after 2day, 4th day and the 8thday. I was so lazy to dive since it was kinda far from my house but at the same time Im very happy that they are really care about you and follow up didn't cost so it wasn't a big deal. The recovery period took me at least 10days, that was a day that I felt comfortable going outside without people knowing what happens to my face.

I know that I supposed to do at least 3 procedure to make my scars go away but I'm very happy with my first experience.
