Thigh Lift, Preparation is Key to a Successful Recovery

I've had two separate surgeries with Dr. Katzen, but I am going to review the most recent procedure I had, which is a medial thigh lift. I was nervous going in for the thigh lift procedure because everyone said this is a tough surgery and recovery is no fun. Well, they are kinda right. Compared to other surgeries I went through, the thigh lift was the most difficult, but if you prepare properly, recovery is a lot easier. Dr. Katzen gave me a list of things I can do prior to surgery to help ease the recovery process. Basically, I set up a "recovery station" next to my recliner where everything is within arms reach. I also had meals prepared in my freezer and protein drinks at hand. I was lucky enough to have my daughter help me the first-week post op, so I didn't have to move around so much. Overall, it wasn't so bad. The results of my thigh lift are beyond amazing, I would do it all in a heartbeat again if I had to.
