Miserable Painful Abscess I Could Not Get in to See Donaldson and Another Surgeon Removed
Once he gets your money and completed the surgery, you won't be able to see him again.
Even though his staff said I needed to see him, everytime I requested an appointment with him I was denied and told I'd have to see one of his staff assistants instead. I went in three times for an abscess that resulted from his surgery. 2 days after the 3rd visit to consult another staff person I was rushed to the hospital by EMS for sepsis. The hospital doctors told me the abscess was partially responsible and had to have surgery to remove. I tried to contact him during that time, but he was unresponsive. I ended up with a deep hole in my thigh with a wound vac and no help from his staff in taking care of it, even though he committed to me they 'would have my back' after I was released from a 6 day hospital stay. The surgeon who removed the abscess told me they found many staples from the surgery floating inside my wound. I complained to the COE about the staff not uncovering there was a serious issue and he explained they could only go by the color of the fluid they suctioned, they didn't have a CT scanner. Perhaps they should have ordered a CT scan for me? Sepsis, it was the most miserable 2 weeks of my life.
