Did you only have he one thigh surgery to get these results?
January 24, 2021
Yes. Just one thigh surgery. Super happy with result.

If you are near Knoxville TN I highly recommend Dr Hall

Thank you for your post. Very few thighs on here and I am considering it very soon. Someone mentioned cleaning yourself out prior to surgery so pooping wouldn't be so bad in the beginning. Maybe not a bad idea after all. I assume they are still really swollen? Did you also have lipo?
January 28, 2021
Yes I had Lipo also still swollen but getting better every day I am amazed at how well it went. If you are near Knoxville I highly recommend DrHall

How bad is your swelling now? That looks like THE MOST PAINFUL surgery. No wonder it was your most feared one! I'm gonna just pass on the inner thighs!! I need it but this current surgery is kicking my butt. Thanks for always posting the gritty truth!!
February 21, 2021
Swelling is much much better. Still some mainly in left leg. But since I started working out it's better. About 2 times a week I am doing 60 min on elliptical and 3 days a week weightlifting and about 15 min -30 min on elliptical (depends on work schedule ) So as with all other surgeries - the swelling passes and so does the pain. Hope you're doing better

Glad your doing well!!! I cannot wait until I can work out again. You are right it all passes and the reason we did all this will remain. It's just nice to have people who have done this kind of surgery to chat with about it. There are NO OTHERS. At least in my life that I feel comfortable sharing my pain and fears about a surgery I CHOSE to have. So, thanks for always getting back to me. May your healing continue and your joy increase!!!

I agree 100 percent. I always feel weird explaining I am recovering from surgery. And then follow with. "It's no big deal - it was an elective surgery ". Lol How are your arms this week.

I'm healing and I can feel that! I pulled my back out yesterday somehow ---arrggghhhh. So, at this particular point, I'm nursing my back AND my arms. They are not in pain thank goodness. They are just bruised and tender. I still cannot hang them fully by my sides. So, I kinda feel like a football player or some kind of heavy weight lifter who cannot rest their arms by their sides. Lol. I go back to work today. I sit for my job so it's not physical. I hoping my stamina will hold up!! I'm 11 days PO today. Have a great day!!

Thank you for sharing. I had arm lift 3 months ago and considering thigh lift in the Fall or early 2022. Haven’t told my husband that that’s in the future. He’s such a good caretaker, but I need to give him more time to forget. There are so few posts on thigh lifts. How’s your swelling? I’m still swelling from my arm lift, one side much more than the other.

Swelling much better. Still some but expected. Life is basically normal

I would love to see an update on your thighs :)

Drains removed Day 12

JourneyContinued
I went day 7 and dr decided with the holiday to keep them in until after as my output was on the high side. Day 12 I went back to dr and drains were removed. I have lots of swelling still and have Ben keeping feet elevated unless I am up walking. Also in compression garment 24/7 except when I shower every other day and then air dry about 30 after (with legs elevated). After every surgery I always swell. It’s my bodies when to heal.

Could you tell us if it hurts upon getting up out of bed, sitting down on a chair or on the toilet seat. Getting up? How do you do it with all those stitches?
December 31, 2020
Yes. All hurt. Mainly it is he bruising. In recliner I am fine. Good cushions. Couldn't sit in a hard chair day 12. Much better now. Bruises on back of legs much improved by day 14. Use a female urine thing that I use when I hike. So that was helpful. Pooping was a whole other issue. Pain pain pain. It was the bruises. Easier to Hoover over toilet to poop. Arm on counter to hold me. Pooping still not great but can sit without extreme pain. I think it is hard to go when you can't get comfortable Oh I also had to raise toilet seat so there was less toilet touching my bruised legs. That was unreal lol But time passes and this moment will too. My mantra the moment.

Holy cow!! I didn't think about sitting on toilet. Ugh. I used the female urinal for my LBL. It was a great thing in the beginning. But, pooping. Yes. That would make things difficult. The swelling always gets me too. So uncomfortable. But, like you said it will PASS!!

Surgery done. Time to recover - Day 1

JourneyContinued
The actual surgery took longer than initially expected. Just under 5 hours. The last thing I remember is getting back into bed after Dr Hall marked me. I woke and I was HOME. Kinda freaky. My beloved said he backed into garage and when he helped me out I started walking backwards lol
To be honest not much pain day 1. Slept mostly
I shower tomorrow
Pre surgery Mark up pics attached
Feel free to ask any questions. There are not a lot of thigh-lift reviews and I know how much I appreciated the reviews I was able to read. We are all different with different start points and different healing times but reading others reviews was always helpful to me as I hope mine is to others
