This has been 8 years in the making. After gaining then losing 100lbs from pregnancy I am finally taking a leap. I am ready to have more confidence in a swim suit and/or anything I wear. very anxious, nervous, yet excited for my final results. Before pics coming soon.
4 years ago began my weight loss journey. I wanted to feel good about my appearance. I am a workoutaholic. I think it was in my head that if i just keep running my tummy will get better. I got down to my lowest weight of 125lbs since high school. Still had the awful loose skin and slight bulge. Ive been able to maintain somewhat, fluctuate around 10lbs. But this year I am ready to make the change that will help boost my self confidence. I had a breast aug in 2010, it helped me some. I hope this is the final chapter in my journey to a better me. Its going to be tough for me not to exercise since its been a huge part of my life for 4 years. Friday is my big day! I cant wait to share my experience with you all.

Took pics this morning after my last 3 mile run...bittersweet. I'm going to miss running everyday.
I feel very nervous today. I just want everything to go well and I hope to recover fairly quickly. I have a very supportive boyfriend who I think is more nervous than me. 23 hours from now I will be under the knife. Pray for me :-)

Surgery went well from what I was told. Took about 2 hours and 15 mins. Woke up feeling very groggy. Started feeling sharp pains about an hour into recovery and they gave me morphine...was feeling great fter that. I was in recovery for a couple hours then they moved me to stage 2 recovery where they sat me in a chair that reclined and I was able to finally have water and graham crackers. Got up to pee for the first time...hard getting used to walking hunched over like a granny. Boyfriend is so amazing. He's been very attentive to my needs. I'm falling in love all over again. I appreciate him so much. He even walks hunched over with me...cute. I haven't been nauseated. I've had quite an appetite. Potato soup and crackers once I got home. Was delicious. Enjoying my alone time with Boyfriend and watching movies. Maybe tomorrow I will sneak a peak. I can tell I'm very swollen and bruised.
