WORTH IT$7,000
Hi all! It's been a long time since I've posted. I wanted to let you all know how I'm doing. Life is back to normal. Been in the gym 5-6 day a week. Doing cardio and heavy lifting with no problems. I'm very happy with my results. My tummy seems to look better and better as time goes on. I'm still using the scar gel, and my scar has faded a lot. I'm still numb under my belly button, but my PS says it can take up to 18 months for feeling to come back. Hope you all are happy and doing well!

Right, looking at how fabulous you are, I am off to drink a gallon of lemon water! So flat and what a beat bb. I cannot wait to start working out. If I can get anywhere near your results, I will be over the moon.
I hope you don't mind me asking, did you need to have the muscles repaired?
Carry on doing what you are doing so well x

January 16, 2015
Thanks! Yes, I did have full muscle repair. After 2 big ole baby boys, I needed it.

WOOOOWOOOOOP look at you girl! LOOOVE it! You CAN see your abs!! NICE! So you are able to workout full on or are you taking it easy ....or......??

January 16, 2015
Thanks! I've been doing cardio for 3 weeks. Just started working upper body with weights last week. I get to start legs next week and I can't wait.

How much cardio (minute wise) are you allowed? And how long to you lift for at this point..(sorry I want specifics...lol)

January 17, 2015
At first, he told me just light cardio. So I'd walk gorgeous about 30 to 40 min. Sometimes an hour. Now, I'm walking fast, doing sprints, etc. anywhere from 35 min. To an hour. I usually lift heavy, but obviously, I can't yet. I am doing light dumb bells (10-15-20 lbs) and I break it up. One day bi's, next day tri's, next day shoulders. I wasn't released yo do back yet, so I will add back to my list starting next week. Hope this helps.

LOL! Stupid auto correct! I didn't mean gorgeous... How stupid! It was supposed to be "about 30 to 40 min" how auto check got gorgeous from that, I'll never know. Ugh.

OH I see...so you have to be cleared for certain parts of lifting..that makes sense! I'm so happy for you love..your doing great..I pray I do as well as you do! My plan is to be a body builder once again. I say if your heart is pumping, its never to late!! So I will be a lifter until I die after this surgery! I spent TOO LONG being fat, got this and fit, then broke my knee and ankle and marinated in my depression over it for a long while, now I have lost that fat AGAIN, and THIS TIME THERE'S NO TURNING BACK..with age comes wisdom and I'm SO GRATEFUL for that..I will NEVER waste time like that again...for the rest of my life!! HENCE getting my body right (surgery), my mind right (my perception and consistancy)...my soul right (building my faith in God)!! Here's to you sweets! Thank you for letting me know your progress, it really helps to know what I'm in for...lol! Love and hugs!

January 17, 2015
Can't wait for your surgery. Looking forward to seeing your progress. Wish you weren't sooooooooooooooo far away! LOL! Good workout partners, who have the same goals, are hard to find.

January 19, 2015
OH my WORD I CANT WAIT TILL ITS MY TURN! And ya..your right ...good workout partners are VERY hard to come by. I find the ones I have had so far kinda stall me out instead of push me..I need someone to PUSH me further then I would go alone ya know...(no one can keep up with me so far..lol) Wish we did live closer ..it would be nice to have a friend that has gone through the same thing you have (or are going to have) and have similar goals right there with you. Well, we still have RS! LOVE RS!! I'm very excited and not nervous as of yet..I hope I don't start to get nervous just before surgery!! Did you??

Did you have any lipo? I looked in your other posts but couldn't find it :P
It's amazing how you barely had any swelling compared to how so many others have had it- I was just trying to draw a conclusion about it ...lol

January 16, 2015
I mean I'm reading stuff about how people are not fitting into pre-op clothes 5-6 weeks later and I'm like WHOA!!! I just want to have some realistic expectations so I don't get all bent out of shape (like I have been known to do on occasion....)

January 16, 2015
No. I didn't have any Lipo. My TT was done with high tension sutures which = minimal swelling and NO DRAINS! The no drains was so awesome, and of course not being all bloated up and swollen was great! I had no problem fitting into any of my pre-op clothing and, in fact, went down one pant size at 6 weeks post op. I am extremely happy with my recovery and results. Especially compared to most reviews that I've read. Hope this helps clarify. :-)
