Between blood pressure & uncomfortable, I needed to do this. I also list nearly 60 pounds after my divorce. I had a TT, BA, & lift, along with hernia repair. I did NOT have lipo, so no drains. I'm so happy I had the lift chair or I wouldn't have known how I would had managed. It is 3 weeks post op, & I'm doing really good. No prescription pain meds after the 2 1/2 day pain pump. It's hard around the incision, will check on that next visit. Won't be able to tell anything from the breasts. Hope to drive next week. I haven't lost any weight except the 4 pounds he took off. Any advice, I'm very open & welcome to. I haven't been told to massage, put lotion or anything yet. This should make it to slowly take me off blood pressure meds. Hoping it will boost my self-esteem. Dr. Yee is a true professional. I am 72 years old, and I finally decided to have something done about my lines and crevices. Dr. Yee was the perfect answer! He did a great job during the procedure and with his after care as well. He is a great doctor, and I am extremely happy with my procedure. Would do it again in a heartbeat!
I have 2 boys, ages 23 and 16. I've been saying for years that I wanted a tummy tuck. I am very active. I exercise 5 day a week. Due to my exercise habit, I lost 25 pounds, and that made my skin problem on my tummy worse. So, finally, I decided, along with my hubby, to go ahead and get it done. There is something to be said about being in top health when having this surgery. So, far(I'm 1 week post op) my recovery has been uneventful. I'm really excited to see my end result! Updated on 21 Nov 2014: This is my only before pic. Updated on 5 Jan 2015: Feeling great. Doc still won't let me lift weights. Says I need to wait 2 more weeks :-( I'm feeling awesome and love my tummy more and more every day. I just turned 45 on Sat. and I feel damn good about it! It is fantastic to actually feel " skinny" in skinny jeans. Updated on 5 Jan 2015: Updated on 8 Jan 2015: I've had a few requests for a pic of my scar, so far. It gets lighter everyday. This is 8 weeks post op. Updated on 15 Jan 2015: 9 weeks post op. I've really ramped up my cardio and have started upper body lifting. I see my abs and I'm soooo excited! Updated on 16 Jul 2015: Hi all! It's been a long time since I've posted. I wanted to let you all know how I'm doing. Life is back to normal. Been in the gym 5-6 day a week. Doing cardio and heavy lifting with no problems. I'm very happy with my results. My tummy seems to look better and better as time goes on. I'm still using the scar gel, and my scar has faded a lot. I'm still numb under my belly button, but my PS says it can take up to 18 months for feeling to come back. Hope you all are happy and doing well!
My personal expeeience: I had an extremely unfortunate and unsatisfactory experience with Hilton Wong Yee. I have large, indented scars on both sides of my eyes and underneath my eyes. They still remain 7+ years post lower blepharoplasty. They cannot be covered up with make-up. They literally have to be "filled in", as if the tissue was dug out. I have webbing in the lateral corners of my eyes along with constant crusting. Also, the lateral canthus has been blunted, which is never discussed or agreed upon prior to procedure. I believe I was not properly assessed - as I advised Hilton Yee that I did not want surgery unless it was absolutely necessary. I explained that I've had "hollows" under my eyes since childhood. Of course, I trusted a doctor with 40 years' experience. Post surgery, I learned the "hollows" were deformed tear troughs. Removing 100% fat from beneath my eyelids was completely unnecessary, as it left me with multiple wrinkles (which I did not have previously) and huge "ditches" under my eyes. When I explained my dissatisfaction, there was no attempt at understanding, no apology, no suggestions, and no refund. Very disappointed all the way around.
