Got to have my shower after 24hrs so I took some piccies. I can't get the marker off my skin!

Ok woke up after not a bad nights sleep - thought I'd be up all night with nerves - at 6:45 and wasn't nervous at all, just anxious a little to get going. My op was at 8am so was told to fast from midnight onwards. I have 2 coffees every morning so that was hard to not do! Hubby & I walked from the Meriton to TCI - took about 10 minutes - then after getting in and filling out a bit of paperwork it was time to say goodbye :( I suddenly felt scared and sad. I was taken to a little room to wait for the anaesthetist and Dr. Before shots were taken as well as stats (BP etc) and IV put in. At this point I started feeling funny. I sometimes get woozy after getting a needle even though they don't scare me. I think it was exacerbated by knowing what was coming up but when they came to take me into theatre I started feeling hot and tingly and knew I'd faint if I stood up. The nurse was good at picking up on this and while I lay back in the chair she ran wet towels over me and fanned me. I was so sweaty!! After 5 minutes I came completely good and was able to stand and walk to theatre. I laid down on the table with arms stretched out sideways on rests and got an pxygen mask on. Next the IV was loaded and the anaesthitist said you might start feeling light-headed... Then I woke up in recovery!! Felt like a great deep sleep!! I know it's twilight anaesthetic but it feels like a general! My hubby was let back in and After about 45 mins I think of sitting in an arm chair with some water and a lollipop I could slowly stand and walk to the cab. Husband was given all medication instructions because I was a space cadet. Back in the hotel I'm feeling very tender, armpits and all around breasts feel like I've done 100 push-ups yesterday. Moving around Is a very slow process and a bit scary because I'm still fainty (6 hrs post op). I'm super tired even though I've slrpt 4 hrs already. Will take an endone soon and pass out hopefully. Also getting my period today ... Of ALL days!! Oh well. Hoping tomorrow I'll be more mobile. Update soon xx

The consult with Dr Tang was so reassuring and put me completely at ease. He genuinely enquires about you and really listens. Totally happy with choice of doc. After showing him my wish pics and my desired outcome he advised I'd be a minimum 330cc moderate profile so I tried them on anf they felt huge! But they did make my frame make more sense. Then he said personally he would go another 30cc to give me a better hourglass figure (I'm a bit boxy normally) so this added 1mm projection and 2mm to the sides which he said would achieve better side-boob. Once I wraped my head around this we agreed on 360cc moderate. He said I could go a lot larger but I really wanted natural so I'm happy with my choice. After the consult I spoke with Jayde who ran us through the capsular contracture guarantee and pre & post op care. We purchased the guarantee even tho it's pricey ($499 thereabouts) just for peace of mind. After that we headed off for one last nice meal and an early night of sleeping flat on my stomach for the last time in months. I'll update with surgery in next post so I don't lose this..
