. Extended tummy tuck. Time to Do Something for Me.

sorry I haven't updated for a while!
I haven't had any pain since about week 5! I ended up with 9 of those piping incidents... saw the ps when they were here in Aus for a check over and he seems to think I'm all good! Just ensuring I'm wearing my compression garment 24/7 which I have been. I don't feel any tightness at all- which bothers me as I worry my internal stitches are broken and the muscle is lax??

I've been careful but slowly increased my exercise (walking 10-15,000
Steps at least 3 times a week, walking in the pool etc) no heavy lifting.

My weight had dropped to 196 but slipped back to 202 ( I was 208 the morning of tt)...

I still swell up a lot and can't tell if it's internal fat it just swelling... sometimes when I relax my tummy it pushes right out.... Only when I consciously suck it in do I look completely flat)

I have a consult here in Perth tomorrow for a breast reduction ... to compare pric s and services. I'll ask that PS to checky tummy while he's consulting on my boobs!

my tummy has been pain free for about a week and the tightness has gone. I've been back at work (part time) for a week. Taking it easy but it's hot and I'm trying to get my steps up each day to keep my exercise up. I'm really sleepy this week and can take three hour long naps and then sleep like a baby for 12 hours straight.,,

I took these pics last night. I can push my tummy out now (relaxed rather than forced) I have to such it in with force to get it even close to flat again - is this swell hell? Or has my popping experience blown my muscle repair? I'm waiting to hear back from my surgeon but sheesh ive lost 10 pounds since surgery so it's not weight gain per se :/( I'm at my lightest weight in years ....

I'll update when I've heard back..

sorry I haven't updated for a few days! I had a scare on Friday night. I choked on an antibiotic which caused a gag reflex and abdominal pressure with a vomit/gag and caused a POP in my abdomen.. No pain just as though something flicked my insides hard! I posted for Drs in here and found some reassurance. They didn't seem to think I could have done damage with o e episode. I had my follow up with surgeon today (Monday)..

Hurrah! So I saw my lovely nurse and she removed all of my stitches. I barely felt anything at all. The belly button was tender but I didn't think she'd even started the incision stitches! She saw a piece of dissolvable stitch poking out of the side I felt the pop.., And felt around and said its highly likely the pop was one of those.. I thought the pop was higher but when I put my hand down to where I felt the pop.. I realised it was pretty much where she pulled the little piece of dissolvable suture out! How bizarre! Anyway, she told me everything looked great and I'm fit to travel home tomorrow. Yay

I had a follow up with my surgeon (and a consult for my breast reduction later in the year! Yippee goodbye 36HH!).. He reassured me that my stitches were fine and there are more than 100 very strong stitches inside my abdomen! Wah happy lady

So, I'm in my hotel... Packed ready to go. Flight isn't until the evening abd my lovely rep Kate has organised a late check out so I can sleep in and relax. I seriously don't know how I would have done this without her and their team,

Can't wait to come back! I've had major surgery but I do feel refreshed, renewed and ready for the new year as if it's been a relaxing vacation, can't wait til December!
