Dr Andrew Broadhurst revision rhinoplasty
Revision Rhino BrisJuly 3, 2015
Consult was good. Dr Broadhurst was very thorough, he took time to understand me and explain a lot in detail, didn't feel rushed. He told me what he saw in my nose which I was happy about because I wanted to see if we were on the same page without me saying anything first because then I couldn't be sure if he was just agreeing with me or not. He described the ideal profile as exactly what I would like to have, straight with a slight dip before the tip so I was happy about this. He was honest. Told me he would tell me if he thought I would be worse off having another surgery. Told me he can't guarantee anything (being a revision surgery) and he won't really know how much he can do to make much difference until he actually gets in there. I contacted the hospital who did my primary rhino, dr broad hurst said this would help a lot and they didn't have my before and after photos although i found the ones i took of my nose that I emailed to them originally but the surgeons notes were minimal (I can't even read them). I feel comfortable with dr Broadhurst and he made me feel as confident as can be, I was very impressed but i still question if I should be having a specialist in revisions or facial reconstructive surgery or if I should just book in! His first app available is in one month. Consult was Tuesday and it's now Friday and still haven't received the email with the quote. I will need cartilage graphs put in. As he doesn't know what happened in my primary surgery he can't tell me if I have enough existing in my nose that he can use or if he has to get it from somewhere else. The pics of recovery after revisions have freaked me out a little. He said I probably won't have much bruising but the swelling will be a lot and take a long time to come down.

I had my primary and revision rhinoplasty with Dr Michael Zacharia in Sydney and I'm reasonably satisfied although still swollen. If you do venture down that way, I would recommend Dr Nettle, he is the best rhinoplasty surgeon in Australia by far. Wish I went to him instead to be honest.

1st consult Dr Broadhurst
Revision Rhino BrisJune 26, 2015
After reading 2 or 3 great reviews on Dr Andrew Broadhurst (revision rhinoplasty) in Brisbane I have book my first consultation Nxt Tuesday. Eager to find out if he thinks I need graphs along the side of my bridge in the middle section of my nose or if I can get away with having just the tip lifted and refined. I feel my nose looks a little flat and rounded (on the bridge) from the front view but profile projection is good. Tip projects a little too much and has a bit of a droopy look I feel. Can't wait for his opinion. Any questions anyone thinks I should be asking?

I sent you a pm a couple weeks ago. Really looking forward to hearing about what broadhurst has to say about your nose. Does he do many revisions?

I had a rhinoplasty done in Thailand almost 2...
Revision Rhino BrisJune 17, 2015
I had a rhinoplasty done in Thailand almost 2 years ago now. I need a revision rhinoplasty done preferably in Brisbane or Gold Coast as I am a single mother to a son with special needs and travel is near impossible. I've found hardly any reviews of PS in these areas. Please help! I've had too much taken out of the bridge of my nose, it has no definition and looks like a ski slope as they say and this makes my tip look bulbous and droopy. My nose was better before I had any surgery! I never wanted an obviously done nose. I didn't have unrealistic expectations. I just wanted it narrowed/defined at the tip mostly. I'm so self conscious of it, it's really upsetting. I'm looking into having a consultation with Dr Andrew Broadhurst. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated, thankyou!

So sorry your primary rhinoplasty wasn't more satisfying. Here's a list of questions to ask prospective surgeons, with the addition of asking if the doctor has done a lot of skilled revisions. And ask to see his or her before and after photos. I think it's good that you're doing your homework! Please keep us updated on how this goes!

I saw dr scamp on GC..dont go to him! His comment to me was that the nose is not important feature on face..that should have been a red flag..but i was desperate and needed something done! Im now looking at 2 surgeons in the US..however i totally understand ir dilemma. Im a single mum (my boys health is not a concern though) and trying to get this done was certainly a challenge..going to be even more challenging when i decide to make the U S trip..im looking at Dr jason hamilton and Dr Richard Davis. Their focus is only on the face. Thats important aszi find a lot of Australia surgeons have more reviews about breast augmentation..i visited dr broadhurst for an opinion he didnt want to do anything cos this will b my 3rd..good luck!!!

I've had four rhinoplasties in total of which three were were revisions. I can say that Doctor David Caminer in East Sydney is amazing! he has totally fixed my problems. I'm so greatful. I had surgery with him last week on the Nov 15 2017. I highly recommend.
No not at this stage
Being australian too , aussie reviews seem to come up first
