Dr Andrew Broadhurst revision rhinoplasty

Consult was good. Dr Broadhurst was very thorough, he took time to understand me and explain a lot in detail, didn't feel rushed. He told me what he saw in my nose which I was happy about because I wanted to see if we were on the same page without me saying anything first because then I couldn't be sure if he was just agreeing with me or not. He described the ideal profile as exactly what I would like to have, straight with a slight dip before the tip so I was happy about this. He was honest. Told me he would tell me if he thought I would be worse off having another surgery. Told me he can't guarantee anything (being a revision surgery) and he won't really know how much he can do to make much difference until he actually gets in there. I contacted the hospital who did my primary rhino, dr broad hurst said this would help a lot and they didn't have my before and after photos although i found the ones i took of my nose that I emailed to them originally but the surgeons notes were minimal (I can't even read them). I feel comfortable with dr Broadhurst and he made me feel as confident as can be, I was very impressed but i still question if I should be having a specialist in revisions or facial reconstructive surgery or if I should just book in! His first app available is in one month. Consult was Tuesday and it's now Friday and still haven't received the email with the quote. I will need cartilage graphs put in. As he doesn't know what happened in my primary surgery he can't tell me if I have enough existing in my nose that he can use or if he has to get it from somewhere else. The pics of recovery after revisions have freaked me out a little. He said I probably won't have much bruising but the swelling will be a lot and take a long time to come down.

1st consult Dr Broadhurst

After reading 2 or 3 great reviews on Dr Andrew Broadhurst (revision rhinoplasty) in Brisbane I have book my first consultation Nxt Tuesday. Eager to find out if he thinks I need graphs along the side of my bridge in the middle section of my nose or if I can get away with having just the tip lifted and refined. I feel my nose looks a little flat and rounded (on the bridge) from the front view but profile projection is good. Tip projects a little too much and has a bit of a droopy look I feel. Can't wait for his opinion. Any questions anyone thinks I should be asking?

I had a rhinoplasty done in Thailand almost 2...

I had a rhinoplasty done in Thailand almost 2 years ago now. I need a revision rhinoplasty done preferably in Brisbane or Gold Coast as I am a single mother to a son with special needs and travel is near impossible. I've found hardly any reviews of PS in these areas. Please help! I've had too much taken out of the bridge of my nose, it has no definition and looks like a ski slope as they say and this makes my tip look bulbous and droopy. My nose was better before I had any surgery! I never wanted an obviously done nose. I didn't have unrealistic expectations. I just wanted it narrowed/defined at the tip mostly. I'm so self conscious of it, it's really upsetting. I'm looking into having a consultation with Dr Andrew Broadhurst. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated, thankyou!
