After months of reading everyone's helpful reviews, I have decided to blog about my journey too. I have a two beautiful daughters (ages 6 & 2) and a loving and supportive husband. I'm 35 years old, 5'1 and currently weigh 129lbs. My goal weight is 120 and hoping to be as close to 125 by my surgery date. Like many of you, my thoughts of having a tummy tuck all started after having my babies. My highest weight was 198 & this is the lowest weight I've been while being a mommy. Even after the weight loss & moderate exercise, I still have my jiggly belly. I'm hoping for a tight, flat tummy with a low incision :). Originally I was going to do lipo on flanks & my back fat, but I opted for just the tt. My surgery date is now final. July 23rd is the big day. I had scheduled & rescheduled for several reasons, mostly nerves. Is it normal to get cold feet? I pray that I arrive on the "flat side" safely. Thank you to all who have shared your journey. I hope this will help others get information & make these very important decisions. I will post before pics very soon!

Feeling nervous
My tt is scheduled for next week. I was a hot mess today. I felt nervous and full of anxiety just thinking of all the risks involved. Thank you to those of you that have posted your amazing results. It puts my nerves at ease. Did anyone else feel this way a week or a few days before? What are some things it can do to prep for the big day? Thank you all for the support!

Yes, nerves are normal, I felt guilty doing this knowing I wasn't going to be able to care for the kids, house etc.. But it really wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.. You will be fine :) the first few days are the hardest but keep thinking that it gets better each and everyday :) realself helps you through it.. Ask questions on here, vent, and you will be fine xo best of luck! Looking forward to your after pictures!
