How it works
- Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
- This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
- Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.
- Reviews are only removed at the reviewer's request or if they violate our Terms of Service.

Terrible Septorhinoplasty Result
Dr Pahlavan performed my Septorhinoplasty and Turbinectomy to repair 2 previous breaks this year at Kaiser Permanente. After my cast was removed it revealed I had a large lump deformity on the right side of my nose. The surgeon said it was normal and he’d see me in 3 months (no follow up appointment post surgery).
I insisted on an appointment after 6 weeks and at that appointment he told me the bump was a bone callus and I should deeply massage in a linear motion along the fracture lines. He also said if it didn’t resolve itself, that he would like to revise it in a year. He said “he wouldn’t charge me since his reputation was on the line”. After several weeks of consistent massage, I developed the same deformity on the left side as well. At a consultation with another plastic surgeon, he told me my nose had collapsed in on itself and to stop massaging immediately.
He also said in 30 years of practicing, he’d never seen a doctor fracture anyone’s nose in the location that he did. This doctor is not qualified to perform any kind of cosmetic procedure. He may help people breathe better but he will leave you with much worse deformities than before. DO NOT TRUST THIS DOCTOR. I just want to prevent what happened to me happening to anyone else. It's been absolute hell.
