Worst Filler Experience and Poor Treatment

I am an American who moved to turkey recently. I have been getting fillers for the past 5 years on and off, in America to my under- eye area and lips. Never had any adverse affect before. I decided to try this clinic after researching. My first appointment I was paired with April who was helping to do translation and was very kind, offering me to do a hydra facial at their other location as well. The doctor spoke to me and I asked for fillers in the under eye and lips. He suggested “Teosyal Pure Sense Redensity II (1ml)” for my under eye. After I got the fillers, I was not provided any mini ice packs for recovery as most clinics provide. I went home and iced it myself , and expected swelling to subside after a week. After one month I noticed thick eye bags were settling in when I had not before. I just had a slight volume loss before, not any major issues. The eye bags looked as if the filler is stuck in a spot and made it look very prominent. Everyone would tell me how I look tired . Before the treatment nobody would say this. I messaged April who asks me for photos and told me , “it’s normal, it will go away”. And to book my hydra facial with them. Not only did I accept but I did the hydra facial. Surprise, no result from hydra facial, just another place which kept offering me bad services at other local salons for the same price I would pay in USA (not any cheaper). Second - third month, eye bags are worse and not improving, I had probably messaged April 3-5 times about asking the doctor to take a look at it. Any normal clinic will offer a immediate consultation and offer to fix the issue to dissolve the fillers. I was not given an appointment for 3 months for any follow up. I finally realized the girls working there, although they appeared to befriend me, were not going to assist me. I contacted the Instagram handle of the clinic and “Adel” finally messages me, books a follow up to see what is the issue after asking me for photos. Finally 3 months later I get the appointment. Adel told me to arrive on time. My appointment was scheduled with Dr. Yunus at 1pm (who I had never met, and didn’t do my last fillers). I arrived at Bht clinic at 12:30, waited until 1pm to go to the front. I was told to wait more than a hour, by the time it’s 2pm and I’m getting late for some work, the doctor still didn’t see me. Instead he was attending a new patient for fillers. She asked me my honest opinion on my filler experience and I told her I had a complication but she can still try the clinic and just do a small amount at a time. I left after being kept waiting 1.5 hours, and nobody contacted me to reschedule. They are taking NEW patients daily, her refusing to accommodate me, a PATIENT Who purchased multiple services (2 type of fillers and hydra facial). What does this mean? That once you pay for services, they do not care about your results or complications. Adel apologized but never offered to reschedule the appointment. I’m not a tourist, I’m an expat in turkey. I know how things work in this country now, foreigners are often just treated as dollar signs and not given good treatment. My lip fillers were fine, to be honest, but the Philtrum looks like two harsh lines due to the technique of the doctor, when before my philtrum before was smooth. Now I’m looking for another professional who will help me with dissolving this botched job. If you are from USA, please be cautious about getting any services in turkey, because once they take your money; they wont care about your issues. It’s not like USA where doctors and clinics will immediately try to see you and fix any issues. They don’t care about client retention here because it’s a revolving door of medical tourists. No accountability for any botched treatments. I was very patient especially with the girls such as April and the other woman working and tried my best to resolve things with the clinic. My last messages were ignored. Being a paying customer I’m not used to this treatment, and it’s seems when a foreigner mentions anything similar to a complaint they are not taken seriously. I am very disappointed in the doctors technique, and service of this clinic. Everyday I wake up and look very old due to the eye filler problem. It’s one of my biggest regret. In dollars total I spend: $128. For - hydra facial at their location (Nisantasi) $665 for lip and eye fillers (1 ml each) $63 for the hospital *check up (not related to clinic plast), but on their employees suggestion. This is the same price I would pay For these services in USA, not much cheaper. *Never got any assistance after getting the botched fillers, most of my messages were just ignored.*
