Another month has quickly passed by and it keeps getting better. In the day to day it seems like it drags and nothing changes, but when I look at pics I can See the improvements. At week 6 I tried to wean myself off of the binder and started working out again. I didn't do any ab workouts just mainly elliptical and weights to arms and legs. I would get badly swollen at night so after about 3 days I had to jump back into the binder! I Would feel super tight and even a little hunched over so I said forget it! For me it feels more comfortable with it on, I can't really explain it other than I fee like my tummy is "tacked" down and feels more supported. I'm also Starting to get a little feeling back in my stomach area. My Belly button area is still mostly numb but Hopefully not for long. My scar is red and bold looking but seems to be healing well. It's flat and hidden by underwear and bikini bottoms so that's a relief! I continue to use the silicone scar treatment and I think it's working very well. Even my breast scars are looking good! This week I felt good enough to start ab workouts as well so I threw them into the mix so I can develop that good old 6 pack! Well, at least a 2 pack by summer would be nice! One thing I stress to anyone reading this before they have the surgery is to get your diet and eating habits in order before surgery so that you are in a good routine. I had a 2 week run with birthday celebrations back to back to back and I actually saw my waistline get a little bigger! Trust me, it can quickly be undone and you don't want to stretch that beautiful tummy out again! I must be signing off for now, but I'll be back next month with an update and hopefully a 2 pack!

Hi :) you look amazing!! I have been looking into having a MM done and only want a breast lift. Mine look almost exactly like yours. And I've had some dr say I need implants and some say I don't and will have great results with just a lift. Did you have just a lift?? If so I must say your results are amazing and I would be very happy with that!! Can you tell me more about what your dr did. Type of incision and what size you are now. And did they firmed up with the lift. Sorry for all the questions but your the first person I have found with my breast that just had a lift and not implants or a huge reduction. :)

Thanks, I was full of questions too! He did an anchor incision for me. I went from a 34F or a 36DDD to just about a 34DDD or a 36 DD now. Bra sizes are always weird for me. He got rid of so much skin and just left the perky boob behind, no implants. They're super firm and I can wear strapless bras and clothes now without looking gross. I'm very careful now to wear supportive bras now because he said eventually gravity will have its way again because they're large, but you can keep the results longer by wearing good bras. I'm just ecstatic about it and I would recommend it to Everyone! Good luck with whatever you decide!

I also am interested in the reply. I too am only interested in a lift and love your results! See this has actually gotten me seriously thinking about it.

I am freaking jaw drop amazed at your transformation!! Your chest difference is tremendous and your tummy is beautiful! Aren't you so excited to wear a bathing suit now??! Keep tracking your progress for us. I am 90% ready to commit to a MM but still reading reviews ferociously (almost too addicted to this site) to move me to the 100% commitment side.....it's the before and afters that really keep me going.

Thank you so much. I'm in awe of all of it. It took me so long to even bring up the words tummy tuck to my hubby! I tried so hard to work it off in the gym but I'd get to 125-130 pounds and start to look too skinny but with a preggo belly, ugh! He was finally like, do what you gotta do so once I had his blessing and help, I went for it. I just feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders because I no longer have to hide or suck in my belly. My boobs are just the icing on the cake for me! Good luck to you in whatever you decide and I'll post every month with updates. It was this site and all of the reviews that helped me decide as well!

Good tip on keeping the diet and eating habits in check pre and post surgery. I feel like the TT is giving me a second chance at a completely flat tummy and I don't want to mess that up--I'll be in MAINTAIN mode!

You look amazing! I hope my results mirror yours. How long did they tell you your procedures would take? And how long did they actually take?
May 29, 2015
He said about 5 hours and it was about that. The boobs took forever and he's ocd so he revised the right side twice after sitting me up and scrutinizing his work. I'm glad he did, I'm so happy with the results!

What a difference a month makes!

Wow, I can't believe how time has flown by. I haven't been great at posting updates so I'm very sorry! I'll recap the last few weeks though. Swell hell hit me at 2 weeks like a wrecking ball. No joke, If I ate a little too much it felt like I was going to blow! Couldn't fit in my old jeans and it was miserable and just sad sad sad. I thought... Oh hell what have I done to myself. I was constantly exhausted and got winded just walking! I bought some anti inflammatory capsules at the store and began taking them religiously. I sat down when I got tired and let the house be messy. I chose to invest in myself during recovery even though it was tough. I told my 4 year old I couldn't pick him up and I stuck to my guns. At 2 weeks post op I got one drain out which wasn't terrible at all. At 3 weeks I got the other out and found out I had developed a smallish seroma above my BB. Dr offered to drain it but said it would probably reabsorb on its own if I wore my binder continually so I opted for that. I also had all of my tape removed at this time and got to see my incisions for the 1st time! Not as bad as I thought they'd be so I was happy. I was still very swollen and honestly one of the reasons I didn't take or post pics is because I was sad! Sad that I looked like crap after paying all of this money and my sadness got the best of me. I pretty much stayed in that binder 2 weeks straight day and night as tight as it would go and I prayed that I hadn't made a terrible mistake. Fast forward to this week, week 4 and I am so elated and downright overjoyed! The only area worrying me now is the flanks! He says they will continue to shrink because he lipo'd them aggressively and they're still bruised so I'm hopeful! I have to wear my binder for another month but then I can switch to the cool shape wear! I know I'm still swollen but I can see my shape again and I want to cry tears of joy now! I can start working out at 6 weeks he says and I cannot wait to get my muscles and booty back! If you read this all the way through, just know that HEALING takes time, it's a SLOW process but if you're proactive and consistent and you follow all of your PS's directions, you will get there I promise! Good luck to everyone in their journeys. Now here's a nudy picture of my "new" old body!

This is a great post for those of us who have not had surgery. I have read that a bit of a depression stage "why did I do this, did I make a mistake, I just spent so much money and I'm unhappy", is very common post surgery. But this is so useful to read that EVENTUALLY you decide it was a GREAT move and no regrets. Just look at the stats on WORTH IT? for MMs....it's like 97-98%. I'll DEFINITELY take those odds, but nonetheless, it is so useful to READ testimonials about what you go through so you don't feel ALONE when you are going through it. Thank you for taking the time to write about your journey for us and hopefully you also find it therapeutic for yourself.

You look stunning! Congratulations! I'm a preop ( mid July) so I took a photo of your words above to read when I'm in that depressed place of not seeing the results yet :) thanks : I'm sure those words will help. Thanks for sharing your journey.
