TCA (MAGIC) Peel!!!

WORTH IT
During my consult I had asked Dr. Mahoney about my skin. It's VERY textured, VERY red, and super dry and flaky. She recommended a peel, and 1 year post BA I decided to finally go for it:
During- I thought it would feel like sunburn. I'm practically transparent so a sunburn is something I'm very used to. However, the peel was more like rubbing jalapeños on my face and then lighting it on fire, I kid you not! Bree gave me a fan which helped A LOT, and talked me through the worst of it. The burning was over in less than 5 minutes just as she promised! She gave me aftercare directions and products, and I waited for the fun to begin. My face, over the next few days got darker in spots, flakey and hard. It took about a week to fully peel, was not at all painful or uncomfortable, and honestly, as a picker, it was SO hard not to mess with, but I left it alone to do it's thing lol...
After- MY SKIN!!! There is such a HUGE difference in my skin! My skin is no longer flaky, my scarring is so much better, nd the redness is almost all the way gone! I can't believe what a transformation one peel caused! My face used to be very sensitive and just be uncomfortable and sore. And that's almost completely gone. For the first time ever my face feels healthy! Bree did an incredible job and Dr. Mahoney was spot on with her recommendation! At this point I would do any procedure she recommends, their office is incredible!! I want to try one more peel on my face in a few months, and plan on also doing my upper back and shoulders to try to help some pretty awful scarring and damage from years of blistery sunburns.
