Tattoo Removal Journey of a New Tattoo

WORTH IT
Hello! I like many others here freaked out not long after getting a new tattoo. Word of advice, if you’re already stressed out, don’t change your body so drastically!! I’ve had my first treatment already, on the 4/2/21, a few weeks after I got the tattoo. It’s always important to check if your skin is healthy enough before starting so soon though! I trust my clinic, who are using the quanta discovery pico plus to treat my tattoo. I’m expecting it to take roughly 2 years, and I may be off to a slow start since I’m stressed from other factors in my life. Bad timing right? I’m currently two weeks post first treatment, and the lightest shading parts have already turned a brown colour and the tattoo is slightly lightened. There is some white though which is unfortunate, as it’s very difficult or impossible to get rid of :/ I’m using this to document my journey for others, as well as to view my progress!

Thanks so much!! The thing is I actually do like the tattoo, just wish I would have gotten it in a better spot. It sticks out of some T-shirt’s really weird, ribs would have been waaaay better! We'll see how I feel about in a few months I guess :) next time I’ll plan the spot a little better

Your tattoo looks familiar. Are you on Reddit too!? I just had my first laser session on a full sleeve! Good luck on your journey :)

I may just be being hopeful, but you can really see the difference in colour of the shading here :) the lines have also softened and blurred slightly, and appear not much darker than the shading :) I probably will not upload another progress pic until the 6 week mark when my next appointment is (unless I see anything crazy)

Just a cheeky pic even though I said I wouldn’t until 6 weeks! I really just can’t help myself. NOW there won’t be another until my next treatment. Not too much change, light shading is still brown.
