Finally Got a Nosejob! - Tampa, FL

WORTH IT$7,200
My nose is still healing, and some days it is a little puffy at the tip, other days it is narrow, they said this will continue for about a year. But I am so happy with the results, I just realized the other day when I look in the mirror, I no longer look at my nose at all; it isn't a focal point for me because I am so accepting of how it looks now.

The dorsal hump is still swollen, so often i'll take a flat object, like a book or butter knife and hold it flat against my nose from top to bottom, and it is so straight afterwards that I cant believe it.

Dr. Castellano did an amazing, amazing job.

ORIGINAL POST

My wife and I booked couples rhinoplasty surgeries...

My wife and I booked couples rhinoplasty surgeries with Dr. Dominic Castellano in February.

He took his time to talk to us and answer every question. His bedside manner, and general attitude is really impressive as far as doctors go. He was very personable, polite, kind and really comforting.

We scheduled surgery, and the day of, the procedure took about three and a half hours. There was no packing of any kind, which was great.

When I woke up, I wasn't sick from the anesthesia or anything. I specifically asked to be prescribed Tramadol for pain and the moment I got in the car, I took one, then another when I went home. I went to sleep, and when I woke up, I took another Tramadol just trying to avoid the pain I was expecting to have, I ate, went back to sleep for the whole night. The next morning, when I woke up, I forgot I even had surgery.

I got in the car, went to my office, and started doing renovations. My wife came to the office, seen me on a ladder, cutting wood, building walls and was astonished. I had literally no pain. I am assuming it was both from technique and Tramadol, but literally throughout the whole healing process my nose didn't hurt once. Not even where they made the incision. No one believed me, even my wife thought I was over-simplifying it, but when she had her procedure, she had the same result. Not an ounce of pain. No discomfort, no bruising. Some swelling, but really only for the first two or three days.

By day 2, we had the "cat eye" look, but that went away quick, and we were out and about.

Follow-ups were a little annoying, since I own four businesses, my time is very valuable to me, and it seemed like I was always in their office, but I understood why. The only suggestion I have is for them to use white tape instead of skin-tone, so people don't think you look like an abused ogre. The tape matched my face perfectly, so people liked to stare, if white tape was used, it would be more of a "It's a nosejob, not a birth defect" statement.

Great doctor. Life changing results. I will post pictures soon!

Talk about being supportive. How cool of you both! I hope you and your wife are still doing well. Can you post some pictures? Take good care
I enjoyed reading your journey! looking forward to your photos!
I have just posted them.
Couples nose jobs! That is awesome! I'm glad to hear it went so well and that you had no pain.
I am shocked, I still cant believe it, I'm about 3 months post op, the scar is gone, I don't really notice swelling on myself, my wife's bulb is still swollen a bit, but for me, the change is dramatic, I missed my appointment for my after-shots, but will post them when I get them done.
