scar and closer look at belly button
Since I didn't have a full tummy tuck I do still have a little extra skin on top of belly button but I figured that since it was a MTT.

I did have the top of my belly button pierced.
I think you have a great result. It helps that you didn't have you belly button pierced. I did, and it got stretched out with pregnancies. But your results give me encouragement that a mini tt might work for me. Thanks for posting pics.
Oh and btw, did you have muscle repair?
I did have it pierced but I took it out.

Was just told today that I would be a candidate for mini tummy tuck with lower muscle repair. I wasn't prepared for that as a lot of folks seem down on the mini!?! What was your experience like in regards to recovery and why did they do a mini on you instead of a full? Thanks in advance!!
Yes I was very scared to do the mini because all the bad reviews. But I went with the mini because Dr Castor is very experienced so I trusted him and I also didn't have much skin to pull down and he talked to me about that.
I do get the little wrinkle above my bellybutton tho when I do a sit up or scrunch my stomach. I posted a picture.

Do u wish you'd have done the full tt? We have similar tummies and I'm not sure I have enough for a full but def have all that wrinkling above and below, mostly below. Scar looks great, good position!

You look great. I have a similar shape and similar concerns, so I'm also considering a mini tuck. However, I'm wondering if the upper part of the belly button gets tightened at all.
Also, what areas did you have lipo-ed?

I asked Dr Castor to do whatever he could do around my belly button area so he pulled in some skin through my belly button I had a few stitches there.

I just had the liposuction on the side where the bruises were in the picture.
I'm 12 Weeks along and my lower tummy still gets swollen when I wear my tight jeans or shorts and I still can't my entire lower stomach.
And I don't mind at all, tHis site was my best friend for like a month straight before my surgery. lol
So three weeks. Is that three weeks of having someone wipe your butt for ya or three weeks of not functioning at a normal level? I've been told no exercise or physical labour for four weeks. I hate that part. We have a vacation booked 6 weeks after surgery and I'm really hoping I will be semi normal by then. I am pumped to read that the recovery from a mini and subglandular implants is decidedly less than a full TT and submuscular implants. I'm all ears f you have a review that helped you or any suggestions. Want to be prepared!! Thanks
