I've always been physically active and although I love the tone and shape of my body; I was never happy with my kangaroo pooch after having my daughter 11 years ago. My entire wardrobe and.or activities were based around my tummy. I did not want a tummy tuck and was very skeptical about lipo. However after much research I decided to make 2012 the last year I complain about my problem area. My overall experience was great from the staff to my amazing doctor. The only con was the extremely long wait the day of my surgery (4 hours). The staff explained that there was a pretty large case ahead of me whom traveled long distance. The wait made me nervous and start to question my decision, but in the end I'm very satisfied and I'm 1 day post op, but I already like the waistline I'm developing.

I've never had any type of surgery besides the birth of my daughter.  I was very nervous, especially regarding the general anesthesia. However the team was amazing and my doctor was outstanding. The only con was the day of surgery wait time. I arrived at 11a and did not go into surgery until almost 4p. "Late, but worth the wait" was truly exemplified on May 4, 2012

2 weeks Post Op Today :-)

So far so good. I survived without taking any meds besides the antibiotics. I'm a super organic freak-so was not wanting to put any extra foreign stuff in my body. The swelling is the worst...and not just my belly, but all the fluids pushed down to my vijay-jay and that was scary looking to say the least. I absolutely hate it..some days I look smaller - others bigger. I definitely went thru the depressed and regret stage like many of you have shared. No to mention the freaking out about my skin on the lowest part of my tummy because I'm a little fearful it will sag once all the swelling goes away.

So here is the positive stuff I'm thrilled about...I'm a personal trainer and have always known that I had ab muscles under the fat. Whoop whoop I'm started to see them in my upper belly. Because the flanks also consisted of my lower back area...I found look like I have a booty. Ladies you may not understand, but I've always wanted a mini donk. lol!!! Today is my first day back to working out...so I'm hitting the cardio and lunges hard. Not to much abs right now because I don't want to hurt my healing. My stitches were removed Wednesday May 15 :-) I purchased two Columbian garments (Diane aka Faja) which are amazing at contouring the body and gives you an automatic breast lift...the girls are sitting mighty high. I'm traveling to LA in 6 weeks-so hoping to look FABULOUS! You will see my photo journey of the last two weeks and more to come. Kisses xoxox
