I've always had cankles since I can remember. Over time they had gotten a bit worse. It seems that I carry most of my extra fat in my legs. I never felt comfortable wearing shorts or skirts because of my legs. I was not able to find a doctor close to home who could do calf and ankle liposuction and was very pleased to find Dr.Su on the web. I had the procedure done today and the actual procedure was not as painful as I thought it would be. But I can tell the recovery is going to be intense. I was able to see immediate results the minute we were done. I can't even begin to describe what it feels like to look down and think "there's no way these are my legs," I feel like I finally have the beautiful legs that Mother Nature robbed me of. I would have done this years ago if only I had known it was possible; but I am glad that I was able to have Dr.Su perform this on me. He performed my lipo under local anesthesia, meaning I was awake the whole time. I was able to flex my calf muscles and turn to help achieve my amazing results. He even stood me up to check my progress; and all you ladies out there that have thicker legs know that the way your legs look standing is dramatically different than the way they look when you're lying down. I believe these techniques made all the difference in the world. There's no way I could have achieved these kind of results asleep under general anesthesia! Dr. Su has an educational degree in fine arts. He sculpts and sketches beautiful artwork. He used his artistic knowledge to envision how my legs would look and literally sculpted them to achieve his goal. I am currently post op about 6 hours and am fairly comfortable lying with my legs propped up. I have some pretty intense burning sensation when I am standing; but it's tolerable. I have taken very little pain needs but plan to keep them on schedule just in case.

It is so nice that they took pics right after your surgery so you could see your results before the swelling really set in- just remember the swelling will go away and not to worry about it! Easier said than done of course :)
Definitely keep us posted on what your healing process is like- we love to hear it all.
How are your legs looking/feeling now?
