Thank you for your support. I won't stop reviewing him until he reimburses me for the failed surgery. The worst part is having it done again under anesthesia at the age of 73.

Yes Post him EVERY WHERE. I would think he would prefer to do you a refund, then lose 15 to 20 clients that are thinking of having him do their Procedures.

I already have my plans made I worked for a plastic surgeon in Hawaii, and his work was just out of this world. I had an upper and lower blepharoplasty performed and he did such a fantastic job that I couldn't stop looking at myself in the mirror for weeks after the surgery. I will be going to Hawaii in November and he will do the revision and while I am there I shall have a face peel. I really need a peel to remove the wrinkles above my lips. I probably would have just suffered with the horrible results because I don't feel as though I can trust anyone except my former employer in Hawaii. Also if I do not get some type of refund for the money already put out, I will be posting for as long as the doctor who did such a poor job is retires. I will check every day I have time to see if my posts are still around. It sounds like I am a vindictive woman, but I am a realist and the part that bothers me more than anything is dishonesty. Any surgeon and not only plastic surgeons know I have fat pads that were not removed. All my friends who knew I had the surgery could tell. Some of the stories I have read on this website are just pathetic. Thank you for being so kind and inquiring as to what will be my next step

hi jil, I don't know what happened to my response to you, but perhaps I shut my computer down before clicking on post comment. I will have my revision performed in November by my former employer who is a plastic surgeon i Hawaii. I know his work (he did a lower and upper blepharoplasty on me in 1980) and the results were just outstanding. I don't care about how much younger I look, I only care that I don't have bags under my eyes. with all the great reviews on dr. rieger's review board, I feel he must have had a bad day when he operated on me. I just don't like the thought of going under anesthesia with a heart disorder and all that has to be accomplished before surgery can be performed. also, I am anemic and if my hemoglobin is low, I will have to wait. I just cannot stand looking at my left eye when it looks worse than before the surgery. the thing that hurts the most is the dr. rieger who knew I had fat pads and that he hadn't removed enough skin did not admit to his mistake and just reschedule me when we return from our summer home. i would not have been happy, but i understand because no one is perfect. I should have been told that he would not charge me for his portion of my bill, the surgery center and the anesthesiologist . when you lose trust in someone because you feel they were not honest with you, it is impossible to trust them to do any further surgery. have a great week. janice

I want to thank all the plastic surgeons who have given me assurance that a revision can be made but not in time for a special reunion or another river cruise of the rivers of Europe.

Megan, when did you have your surgery? I am not usually so upset, but when it is my face that is another matter. Right now, I am so worked up over it mostly because of the dishonesty factor and that I will not look so much better when I attend a reunion in September. I will sue unless I get a refund. Dr.'s pay for this insurance and after being a medical consultant for many years they are more than happy to settle then to drag it into the courts. I wish you success and make sure you click on every review board you can find. I haven't got to Yelp yet, but will do so tomorrow. Thanks for your note, it is good to find others who are going through these unnecessary problems.

Hi, I've just come across your story and am wondering what wound up happening with you. Did you go to Hawaii and get your former employer to fix what Dr. Rieger had done? Did Dr. Rieger ever come through and give you a refund? Hope you're doing better :)
