Apparently I have pissed some people off. I'm not going to say I'm sorry for what I said. It's my blog and I'll say whatever I want. I will apologize that it came off rude however, guess what? So did your comments when I read them. I am at a point where I am just very fed up with everything and everything and everyone is on my last nerve, no matter if they mean well or not. This is obviously not getting anywhere so I'm done. I will continue my pursuit to get this BR done but I am done sharing. Bye RealSelf. Lol no one listens (small rant)
Most of the comments I'm getting lately are honestly getting on my nerves a bit. So let me clear some things up since apparently people can't read/ understand my situation.
1. I am not having a problem with being covered by insurance. The problem is that the only doctor I want to go with and my family can agree on IS in our network, but they are having trouble with the type of insurance plan we have. WHICH is still being worked out.
2. Unlike some of you lucky ladies, I do not have the luxury or ability to just pay out of pocket and skip the insurance hassle. If I did, this would have been done months ago. SO the only choice I have to get this done is to be covered by insurance, and it's the only way my dad will agree to help me out with this.
3. The PS I want to go with is not stupid at all, he is one of the top surgeons in the country and has done over 3000 BRs. I only said that because my level of frustration is at an all time high, and you commenting negative things is not helping.
4. What happened to all the supportive people that used to be on here?! This site is not for rude comments and telling people what they need to do when they already know; it's for understanding and support and feeling happy for each other that they can finally be happy with themselves and have a better life. JUST SAYIN.
I hope this clears everything up since no one wants to read my full story apparently. I apologize for being rude, but you have to understand how frustrated I already am with all this, not to mention with other things that are going on in my life. From now on, let's just be supportive, like our bras have been for us.

Sorry. I AM in the medical field, work with insurance daily and I could have gotten the answers you needed pretty quick. BTW, I have read your blog and I am as frustrated as you are. It really shouldn't be this difficult. I mean that honestly. Hang in there, this insurance stuff will just get worse so you're lucky you are doing it now. I'm glad you didn't really mean your plastic surgeon was stupid. You can understand how I feel about those words since I am in the field, live with a doc and I personally know how hard they work. I won't be reading your blog anymore or making any more comments since you interpret them as negative. I hope you get a BR, and the surgery makes your life happier. Good Luck.
I didn't think your comments were negative. But I too am done reading this "blog" as well. I don't like when people lash out for no reason when people are trying to be there for them.

My dream of small boobs is in my dad's hands. I found out from my mom tonight that insurance would cover me, but the problem is that they will not give the plastic surgeon proof that they will pay for it, though they told my mom they would. The plastic surgeon's office needs the proof from insurance. SO what we would have to do is just pay out of pocket for the stupid plastic surgeon, and then have insurance refund us what they would cover. My dad says it's a scam, and unfortunately it's entirely up to him whether he wants to pay this or not. If he doesn't than I'm fucked because my mom has already talked with all the surgeons that insurance emailed us saying that they are in network. Half of them don't even take insurance?! The other half we just didn't like. So I have no idea what's going to happen now. I really hope my dad will say yes and pay the out of pocket price and have insurance refund him, but I guess I have to wait some more and see :/
