Hi,
I have been on Hormones for 2 yrs and the results I wanted were not up to my standards. Given I am a tall Woman, I decided to move forward with Breast Implants.
My choice of Doctors was limited because I wanted a Surgeon that has experience with Transgender Woman.
Our Chest walls differ from that of a "Cis" or Genetic female so positioning of the implants are key to making them look great.
Well, After many questions and research I decided to seek out Dr Greenwald in Tampa.
Dr. Greenwald and his team are so caring and meticulous in all they do.
He is straight forward with you and will tell you the best possible solution based on your frame, Skin and many other aspects.
I wanted 400ccs and all he said was that he will try to go as large as possible without risk of hurting me or causing an issue after.
I ended up with 385cc Implants and they were more than enough to satisfy my expectations.
From the moment I went under, which I don't even remember at all to the time I went home (The same day!) there was no pain whatsoever!
He uses Surgical tape to keep the wounds closed. There are no External Stitches!! Again... There are no External Stitches!! As time went on the tape has to fall off on its own and it was pretty amazing.
He does prescribe Scar Cream which I still apply until it runs out.
You will be swollen for the first 2-3 days. Keep an Icepack on your chest to reduce it.
There is one aspect which is my biggest concern:
There is full Numbness of the Breasts. That is normal because when he goes under your skin to make room for the implants, nerves get damaged.
It could take a long time for the feeling to return or it may be permanent. It is a risk that has to be worth it.
It's like that for all Surgeons that do Implants.
You will be wearing a Sports Bra for at least a month and only remove it when Showering. You will sleep in it and also sleep elevated and on your back at least for the first two weeks. It can get uncomfortable but it is temporary.
I'm used to sleeping on my stomach and to this day I have not slept on my stomach since my Surgery back in Feb.
I could if I wanted to but I'm not used to it and try not to lay on my Girls. LOL
Anyway, The results, as you all will see are superb! My Sister and Mom think they are so natural looking.
I am so happy I chose Dr. Greenwald and for all of you out there that are searching for a Surgeon to change your life, you might want to inquire with him. :)
I hope this information helps those who want to help themselves.
The scarring will fade even more with time. It has only been a little over 2 months since Surgery.
And remember....
Be who you are, not who the world wants you to be!

Congrats! You look absolutely fantastic. I'm also curious to know (as another member here also asked) if your implants are over or under the muscle. I'd also read a while back that Greenwall MD prefers over the muscle for MTF augmentations. Although I imagine it would vary from person to person. Happy healing!

They look fabulous. I'm so happy that there are Dr.'s that will perform this Sergey for us. Had mine done a year ago and love them every minute of the day. I went from an A cup to D. Worth every penny.
Am I correct in assuming that the implants were placed under the muscle?
Hugs,
Bronwen.
