So I'm 29 y/o. I looked into different procedures to get rid of my double chin that I've always had but I didn't want to go under or be out of work for days or weeks. Kybella is quick and mostly painless and so I thought it was the right move for me. (Plus it's permanent which I love) My nurse practitioner said I would need 3 treatments. I'm on my 2nd treatment. My first one was done on Jan 23. My 2nd one was done March 8th. My np says she likes to wait 6 weeks in between treatments because of the swelling. I've used 2 vials for each treatment I've had done. My first treatment I bruised really bad on my left side and was also super swollen. Mind you, both treatments she numbed me before hand. For my 2nd treatment I had one little dime spot of a bruise and my recovery has been much better. I didn't have to Ice it as much and the swelling has gone down quicker. I'll keep you guys updated when I get my 3rd treatment done in less then 5 weeks.

Hi Danielle, is the price for two, or just one treatment?
March 20, 2016
there was a January special on kybella where I go, so I decided to pay for two treatments that month and I got a couple hundred off the injections. Also because it's an allergen product any doctors office does brilliant distinction rewards which when you get to 1,000 points you get some money off of any product or treatment that is done with allergen products.

So I'm still not back to where I was 6 weeks after the 1st round but I think it's getting there. Still swollen and numb... I've read on here that some patients doctors feel as if they should wait a little longer then 6 weeks. I'm going to be going on vacation and would only have 5 weeks from my 3rd treatment.. So i may wait after my vacation to see what my results really look like before I go ahead and get the third treatment.

Thank you for sharing your journey. Awesome results! I cant wait to love my results- are you contemplating for the another injection or that was it for you. Is your weight the same, i m wondering if gaining or losing weight will impact the outcome of the results.

My weight has been about the same.. Maybe 2-3 pounds fluctuating. Nothing crazy. I'm gonna go for my 4th injection soon.. Possibly next week. Yes the results arent instantaneous but I love the fact that I can slowly get rid of the hereditary double chin that I was so blessed with through my fathers genes!

Looking great. Can I ask a personal question? Regarding pricing. Are u paying $1900 for each treatment? Or is this a one time payment?

I always do the injections when they run a special. So $1900 was for two injections. I paid up front so I could get the pricing. Right now my med spa is doing a $999 special for 2 vials of Kybella. Which is all I will need! So whenever I can save $$ is when I get injected. Gonna be doing my 4th tx soon! Yes a lot of ppl say well you could have gotten liposuction for the price of all these treatments.. Which I know but the fact that Lopo comes back if you gain weight and if not done properly can leave bumps in certain areas. I've read the horror stories. I would rather just get injections and the fat never come back!

Thanks for the update. I'm 10 day out from my first injection. I got 4 vials and I swelled up like crazy. It's slowly going down, but I'm trying to be patient and wait for the results! Please continue to update your post!

Yes patience is key!!! A lot of ppl want instant results and I'm so glad I'm taking my time with this. I'm getting married in April 2017 so this is something that is a slow process but by my wedding day will be all worth it.
Wow, how exciting, I can't wait to see your results either!
Do you have the injections in the same spot or is it injected in a different part of the fat pad?
