WORTH IT
Finally removed my tape today. I am starting my scar therapy with just essential oils for a whole and once more time goes by I will try the silicone strips. So my essential oil concoction consists of almond oil, vitamin E, rosehip oil, cedarwood oil, myrrh, frankincense, & lavendar. I read all are really good for eliminating scars and rejuvenating your skin. Anyways just to back track a little at my 2 week visit my right breast was still really swollen and draining more than usual so my Dr decided to drain it manually. The tool he used to drain me looked similar to the one the dentist uses to drain saliva from ur mouth. He said it was "just going to feel a little weird". That was understatement of the freaking year because yea it felt weird alright WEIRDLY FREAKING PAINFUL! there are no words to describe the pain I felt as he was moving this tool through my already tender and very sore breast tissue. It brought me to tears and I was holding back because I really wanted to boohoo cry lol. I'm just glad I made it through that whole ordeal. Back to my current situation. My breasts still are a little sore I'm at least able to lay on my sides somewhat comfortably. My sides are still a little sore where the drain holes were though and my right breast is still very swollen which is why my nipped looks a little weird (you'll see in the pics) can't wait for them to look like normal breasts again. Even though they look a little beat up right now because I'm still swollen and bruised I must say I'm loving having smaller breasts and seeing how my shirts fit so much better.

I winced when I read your draining story. They look great. Keep posting pics.
Weirdly freaking painful ... lol. Happy healing.
I hope you are feeling better! I had a tummy tuck years ago and I was told the same thing about recovery time. It took me a month to return to work (standing doing hair) and almost 1 year before I felt like myself again. I was considering getting a breast reduction but after reading these stories and seeing some of these pics, I might have to purchase a better bra and live with it. Your breast are looking great and scarring is minimal. God bless you with your recovery, Sweetheart!

Day 4

Ok so a quick update, I finally had a good bm today (sorry tmi) after drinking 3/4 of a bottle of magnesium citrate. I am still getting nauseous from the pain meds so I think today will be my last day taking them. Anyways here are my day 4 pics up close and personal. My Dr did a great job the right has a little more swelling than the left so I'm hoping once that resolves the size looks a little more even. Other than that I'm loving my new boobs!

Congrats & Happy Healing to you ;-)
Thank you!
Hope you are starting to feel better. I thought the recovery was much more painful than I was lead to believe also. My lipo under my arms and on the sides still feels tight and a little uncomfortable four months later. The breast area feels great, however.
In your opinion, was the lipo under your arms helpful? Did it enhance the appearance of your boobs in anyway?
I think the lipo really added to the looks. I needed the lipo , so no side boobs now. Very smooth and clothes look so much better.
Wow! I'm scheduled for the 30th, they make the breast reduction sound like it comes with no pain! Happy healing luv..
Yea same thing I thought..everyone is different though so I hope your recovery isn't as difficult as mine was.
