I have always loved the look of "fake" boobs but felt I could only justify forking over the money for them unless I was very happy with my body. A year ago I was at my highest weight of 160lbs and I set my eyes on competing like I have always wanted to but couldn't find the motivation. I finally got myself in shape mostly by lifting heavy. I went from a 36 C/D to what I was measured at my initial consultation 33A. I could barely fill out an A cup. I decided it was finally time to get the new girls I have always wanted. I knew who I wanted to go with from the get go looking at local plastic surgeons work. I went to Dr. DeRoberts I loved his work and my hair dressers sister also went to him for a BA and loved her results. I was confident with my choice he understood my goals as I have no upper pole fullness and never truly did even at my largest. At the consultation he measured me and said high profile was the only way to go to achieve my goals and I definitely agreed. I was most concerned with having the more round/fake/done look I would never use the word natural for what I wanted for myself. Based on my BWD he said either 375, 400, 425. I went back and forth many time wondering if I would end up too big and it would distract from my hard work and muscles especially once I begin competing (bikini or figure undecided still). But I also didn't want to go to small that I wouldn't have the more fake look. My PS uses sizers during surgery and once he feels I'm where I wanted to be he puts the sterile final implants in. My surgery was yesterday it went very smooth. I was the first case of the day. He had 375, 400, 425, and 450 laid out for sizers. Dr. DeRoberts has an amazing fully accredited surgery room in his office which is also at a local hospital. I did not sleep well the night before but that's normal I think. My husband and best friend came with me, we live about 90 minutes away and had to be there by 730am so a very early morning for all of us. Once I took the pregnancy test which I knew would be negative I started my period the day before, I got changed, talked to the anesthesiologist, his nurse chatted with me a while and the doctor came back and marked on me and we went over again my goal look. I walked into the surgery room where they hooked up the leg compression and got my IV started, they put the antinausea patch behind my ear as I requested and put quite a few antinausea meds in my IV as I am notorious for extreme sickness from anesthesia. The anesthesiologist told me I should feel the relax med in a few minutes and that's the last thing I remember no counting down or anything. They told my husband I went into the OR at 8:04 and was under by 8:08. Once I came to they said I ended up with 450cc HP and that they had even tried the 475cc but it was too large and moving into my armpit so 450 was perfect! The pain was horrific and I have a great pain tolerance. They gave me one of my muscle relaxers and before I knew it we were on our way home for another 90 minute drive. I slept most of the way but woke up in pain many times. Took a Percocet after I got home and felt so much better. Took a nice long nap I'm not a back sleeper but the pills have made it much easier. Everything has gone smoothly, appetite is normal, no sickness and my husband keeps me on a strict pill schedule so I'm never in much pain. So far I think the 450s are beyond perfect I think they balance me out just perfect so I'm thrilled no boob greed since I know I couldn't have fit anything bigger and they don't look that huge to me. I'm such a happy camper and feel like I can do lots on my own so far aside from pushing or pulling. Like I can't do the seat belt by myself and need a little boost off the couch or bed but most everything else is easy peasy!! I think they look perfect so does almost everyone except my husband he's more of a booty guy and he is concerned I went too big, but I want what I want and it's my body so it's not something I'm concerned about. I just wear a front close sports bra from Walmart as expected no band, they said at my post op next Tuesday they may give me a band but likely not my PS and I's goal is for them to stay a bit higher. I've been so good and not even took the bra off to peak I will tomorrow when I'm allowed to shower, if I decide to shower haha.

Everything is going perfectly fine no real complaints. I finally took a shower as allowed which was also the first time I saw the new girls. WOW they are huge and definitely frankenboob. I can tell they're swollen but can't tell if it is swollen in the middle or like a symmastia, my husband gets paranoid about things like that and it gets me concerned to an extent. Do you ladies think they're looking good for 2 days out?

They look amazing! Perfect for you body! They will be swollen for awhile so don't worry. I had a Mommy Makeover: Tummy Tuck breast lift w/420cc mod+ saline under the muscle & lipo of side boob & thighs in March this year & my breasts took about 5 months to stop swelling. I had "morning boob" where they're sore, swollen & tight in the morning but are fine by the evening. I would put an ice pack on & they would feel better. Unfortunately I went too small so last Wednesday 12/09 I had a revision surgery. I exchanged my 420cc saline to 550cc fillies to 600cc mod+ saline under the muscle. It's odd they don't hurt at all! I had my side boobs lipo'd again so that is sore but the inscision doesn't really hurt & my breasts feel good. They're much softer this time & I'm 7 days PO. I guess since the muscle & skin were already stretched & the pocket was already formed they don't hurt as much? I don't know but you will feel relief soon make sure you massage a lot once you get the clear! I used coconut oil when I massaged them it helped the scars, dryness & it made it easier to massage than just dry hands. Keep us updated & lots of pics! Happy healing ;)

The nipples should not be pointing down....right? Or maybe you decided not to do a lift as well?
December 18, 2015
I actually didn't need a lift, if you look at my before pictures you can see my nipple is above the fold and when measurements were taken I was well within the range of not needing a lift. My breasts just naturally sit lower on my body but not saggy if that makes any sense. I see what you're saying with these pics but my nipple isn't pointing down its just at the bottom of my breast because my implant is only 2 days old and sitting very high so when they drop I will have upper fullness (had zero before as you can see in before pics). My nipple will be more centered on my breast once the implant drops :)

This is what they look like when done ? Do they go back to a more normal look or is that it ? I was considering this but if they are gonna look like that when I am done no way...
December 18, 2015
Oh absolutely not this is only 2 days after surgery they drop and fluff/soften with time!! The way they look right now is completely normal for after surgery, over the next few months they drop into the created pocket and become more natural looking, if you look at most women's pictures right after surgery they will look similar to this and with time they change shape. Mine are also extra high and so full up too because if you look at my before I had zero natural breast tissue above the nipple so my doctor and I chose high profile and to set them very high so that when they drop I will keep some upper fullness. I have high profile which means more projection in order to get that upper fullness in the end but there are other styles that are more wide than tall. I suggest a consultation with a surgeon about your goals in the end and they will be able to tell you what style and size will best accomplish your goals. There are so so so many options for look out there! Don't let these pics scare you, these girls have a lot of changing they will go through and I will keep updated so you can see that they don't stay like this forever :) feel free to ask me anything I'm more than happy to answer what I can to my knowledge but you should definitely get a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon so they can talk to you about what would get your girls to where you want them :)

I think you look great for being so early post op @sng1988! I know that in about 2 months, you're going to have amazing results. You're right, it takes time for the new implants to drop and fluff. Congratulations!

Day 3 PO
sng1988December 18, 2015
Nothing too notable about day 3. I can move my arms with ease for the most part, still feel extremely bloated, they're tight and sore at times but really nothing too bad everything seems to be going smooth. I am only taking my bra off for shower aside from that I'm being super good and not peeking or trying on bikinis and bras like I see a lot of women do right away. When I look in the mirror they look way better than yesterday to me but the pictures look the same in my opinion. Lefty is still more swollen and a small amount of bruising but nothing I'm concerned over :) oh also I noticed when I reply it's sending my reply twice so I apologize for that I don't know how to delete that or why it's doing that argh.

I am 5' 6- 130. On Dec 10 I got 450 under muscle. Absolutely I look identical....and left side more swollen on top. I thought they were huge but the woman who brought me home had to check them for bleeding per doctor and she told me they were gorgeous- that I would love them. ....before all this swelling. ....
So I think we just need to hang in there......I'm a few days ahead of you and yesterday I was put in the band- no bra......definitely a challenge....

We're practically surgery buddies!! What profile did you get? I was reading through your comments and saw you also got a lift and are going for more of a natural look? I'm sure you look fabulous! Do you plan to post your own review with pictures soon? I would love to see!! The swelling on one side more than the other can definitely be annoying I know it'll go away though! My bleeding was so minimal as well I didn't look until 48+ after when I was allowed to shower and there was essentially nothing on the pad things :) keep me updated on your progress!!
